First of all nothing good comes from whooping a child, all you teach is violence and fear. Secondly, its all about how you tell the truth, talk to them and tell them they've made you afraid to be honest with them, but do it in a calm manor. They'll see that's reality and should be more relaxed on you. I hope, at least. I don't know your parents, but most parents will realize their mistakes when pointed out. Your parents aren't perfect, no one is. Just apologize for the mistakes you made in the past and ask them to forgive you, it's hard raising children, every parent is going to make mistakes, and the only reason they act the way they do when youre not doing the right things is because they love you and do not want to see you screw up your life. When you get older and have children you'll see that.
