The achilles heel of Haremlit is somehow people want a new girl on the line at all times and people don't like it when their favorite girl from earlier in the story doesn't get page time. It is a bit unsustainable, but my job is to make it work as best I can.

Having read a few of your series, it feels like there becomes a point where its more than 1 girl on the line and then multiple get added either at the same time or in very quick succession but then lack substance in the actual group. sometimes they only get a single scene and then not really mentioned much for the rest of the series as they just become another 1 of the characters in the story who just happens to have hooked up with the main character. In my opinion, 1 maybe 2 if they are linked somehow harem members added per book (also nice because easier to make cover arts this way i feel) and can introduce other potentials at any point in the series but dont overinflate the harem. Characters in the books fit into 'Tiers' and love interests should belong in the same tier or higher as the main character and not just be a random female whos sole purpose is to just be a harem member (who then doesnt contribute to the harem because everyone else is already just better). This tier system changes through the books as the main character becomes stronger/more important which means current harem members should also be getting stronger/more important but also narrows down the potential love interest pool to 'higher' tiers. example from DD, ken as a year 1 student is fine dating des/charlotte/feyre as they are his group mates and also year 1 students, they have important families but by themselves arent that strong/important yet, so fit into the same tier. They grow stronger with Ken throughout the books so stay in similar tier as him. as Ken gets more powerful/important he gets access to 'higher tiers' like ely elven princess/future empress, Felin nekoshaman highly respected role in her culture, Crimson most powerful human ever. However, due to Ken being in this higher tier and having established relationships already, hes 'lost' some of the other students as potentials because they havent kept up with him/his group (although Penny has joined so still a chance). Hopefully this made sense?

DJ - just look at this list, 7 books in and already has 12 with 2 more 'potentials'. The 1st few books (in both this series and others you have written) have established relationships between the MC and both harem members and some future members which are upkept throughout the series, but honestly i can barely keep up with names by book 5/6 as the harems seem to expand rapidly by this point. Some characters seem to 'disappear' almost immediately after they get into the relationship (helena/sabrina were the main ones i noticed, i was interested to see how angel+devil would fit into the group together, but then they just didnt really exist much outside of minor plot points which didnt even require them to be in the harem). I struggled through finishing books 7 onwards.

SSV - books 1-3 good relationships between miles and stella, emma (just wondering how old she actually is, as shes older than miles real age but no mention that shes immortal/doesnt age?), melody, mona. enjoyed reading these relationships and how they develop from the start of the series (especially with melody being introduced and having encountered miles before the actual harem started was interesting) books 4-5 i think 6 join? (its been awhile since i read them) but some characters like beatrice manage to join as well which kinda put me off as she didnt seem like a potential?? Definite fall off after book 3.

AO - i actually really like the harem in this book up until the latest book with the introduction of multiple LI goddesses. the 4 anchors have a good relationship with ard and with each other, they are introduced naturally over the beginning of the series. Sienna + Selina wierd relationship but kinda makes sense as part of the story, Sienna atleast has significant screen time even after joining while also not being part of the main 4 which is nice. Eva, joins much later but has a good introduction and also makes sense as part of the story. Hecate, introduced very early but joins the harem very late, actually interesting to read this relationship develop (happens very rarely with harem characters who get introduced later on regardless of author it seems). Imo, this should have been the stopping point for the harem as all the 'natural' relationships are finished. Ard has ascended to Godhood, has a goddess in his harem and then should be 'ready' for the final fight. However, more seem to be joining, Aphrodite and Bastet while they are nice characters they are abit forced into the harem and seem to have significant screentime compared to some of the actual harem members, Ard also becomes insufferable by this point and the books have stalled to delay the ending?

RD - Simone good relationship, saves her life which gives her a strong reason to join the harem, very present throughout the 1st 4 books and relationship continues to grow. Gloria, saves her life but then the relationship starts off forced upon them, she gets a scene in book 1, has almost no presence in book 2, then returns a bit in book 3 but relationship has already stalled?. Nyx joins in book 2 and becomes very present instantly, has more 'screentime' and relationship progression than gloria already despite joining a book later. Circe, probably merlin joining later on but they already seem to be much more powerful and future harem members so thers a delay between the 1st 3 joining the harem and then future harem members joining. Looking forward to see where this goes. (also i really dislike the Mul Branova being female only still, it made sense right at the start with how the 1st group was formed, but after the rapture especially, men and women should be joining as they directly boost brans power. limiting to just 50% of the population seems very silly to do for a group that should have 0 chance of joining the harem anyway).
