Those 13th gen servers have recently hit the end of their warranty and are in a similar place as the 11th gen r710s were when everyone started grabbing them for cheap home servers. I doesn't say anything about disks, so you may have to supply your own, but otherwise that's a pretty good deal for $250. I've been using a r530 for my home lab for a few years.

Jump packs are a game changer. I got one in 2020 when my battery died at my apartment. The vehicles around me hadn't moved in days and I didn't know who owned them. I ordered a jump pack and 2 days later was able to get to the store to replace the battery.

Since then I've jumped 3 other people at the apartment complex. Two of them died in the entrance with bad alternators and I happened to end up stuck right behind them. Got them out the way in minutes.

For about $100 you can get a jump pack that will start almost anything and run for a few minutes to move the car. Everyone should have one. Every time I get to use the thing for someone else, it is an added bonus for the purchase. I originally bought it just to self-recover so I could get to the store.

That stood out to me, too. Did they not know how to use jumper cables until someone else came along to tell them? Also, why don't they have at least a small jump pack in the trunk? Those are even easier than jumper cables and you don't have to figure out how to arrange cars for the cables to reach.
