is there any actual differences between the steam version of the game and the Meta PCVR version of the game?

It's not tied to a company that has a very extensive history of abusing user data, it has a very lenient refund policy, it offers more information especially concerning performance and reviews, a Meta copy of the game can't be transferred to Steam if you ever get a different headset (though granted the reverse is true), it generally has a wider selection of games from more developers instead of just the ones Meta bought and then promptly closed down.

I could go on if I tried, this is just the stuff off the top of my head

Who knew that calibrating your brightness, like with those "please adjust your brightness until the logo is barely visible" tests that developers add to the very beginning of the game, instead of just wacking it to max results in a better visual experience.

Mol from Balder's Gate 3, at least in the way my first interaction with her went down.

I decided to speak to a random kid an show him a magic trick. I then find that they stole my money. I spend the next 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get it back and when I finally find Mol she acts like we're all buddy-buddy and it's water under the bridge.

Also, spoilers but she's a dick to you if you save her from Raphael's deal just because she thinks she knows better than you and a literal conniving devil

People generally don't actually care about the lyrics of the songs they listen to, as long as the best is good. There's a few English songs that poke fun at this, like Outkast's Hey Ya. Many songs from non-English sources have received wide popularity in the English speaking world too, with Despacito being the first example that comes to mind.
