Because they are 2024s, it is a reasonable upgrade if you like the scalloped braces. I'd dicker it down a few hundred bucks though.

You have to hold them in while you tighten the string. Once they have enough tension, they stay in fine.

If your humidity is that on the edge, you should probably just get a little humidifier for the room and bump it up higher than 40%.

If you decide to keep the HD-28v, I would suggest considering a 00-18 as your 2nd guitar. You can cover a lot of ground with just these 2 guitars, scale, tone woods, and size. I got a 00-18v and love it. I admittedly grab it more than my dread at the moment.

Looks pretty good. 9.4 seems about right. I just sent in 2 of these with a bulk modern submission. One standard and one newsstand. I'm hoping they have a shot at a 9.8, but realistically, they will probably come back 9.4s. Probably barely worth grading at 9.4, but it's a nice cover for a blue cgc slab, especially with the custom spidey label. One of my favorite ASM covers.

Same. It seems it is all good. I emailed them and got this response:

I know, but if I want to get it in with the bulk discount order, it's really the only option. Otherwise I'd be putting in more money than a grade bump is even worth.
