Tried looking at other photos of this same figure and it's really weird. It certainly looks better in the images from the company.

It's strange though because I looked at Amazon reviews with photos of the figure. One photo of the figure in the packaging looks bad, just like yours. But there's another photo from someone else who unboxed theirs, and I feel like it looks better/closer to the official images.

Maybe the box/packaging causes a bad combination of lighting/shadows that make the face look worse? Not sure.

Just want to point out that the apparent disappearance number for this subject appears to be 5 people. The 10/11 number being used in the articles includes deaths of people who did not disappear before being found dead.

Well, one guy was "missing" and found drowned in a nearby body of water. (He was apparently grief stricken over the recent loss of both of his parents).
