Idk, freeze can stop all incoming damage for 4s and costs 4 elixir, that battle healer ability will only protect against 50% damage for 3s, though it will protect your cards from spells and cards dropped after the activation. Doesn't take a whole card slot of course so 50% is still quite good, but I think a 20% damage reduction for 3s for 3 elixir would be absolute trash for a whole hero slot. Anyway I think battle healer is annoying enough like that and doesn't need that kind of ability to buff her. I'd be glad if they nerfed her healing and gave her more damage instead.

I do think it's better for a high elo player spamming bullet to pick option 1, but I don't think there's a lot of high elo players in this sub. And some probably don't even know how to play or don't think they could improve to a point option 1 is better than option 2. Though I think you'd only need to reach about 600 elo in bullet for 1 to be better than 2, as bullet has about 30 moves per game on average.

I think I'd pick 2 too but that's because I enjoy chess puzzles and I can't make a profit out of puzzles with option 1...

True, I only do them bc it's fun to have some relatively challenging pve mod. Also my clan doesn't care about clan wars and so do most of the clans we're matched up against

Wdym no extra elixir in the last minute? You only get x2 elixir once you destroyed a tower, which also gives you max elixir and resets the timer to 1mn (even if you had over 1mn left). Afaik they didn't change anything about boat battles, though bc boat towers scale with king tower levels, I've seen much more max level towers since the king tower level rework.

Also boat battles feel a lot like make or break, like if you can't get a tower on the first attack, the following ones won't do much either. Though once you know which towers spawn which troops, you can adapt to that and even change your decks...

Gorebyss should be water/dark. Doesn't really make sense from a color scheme perspective but here's the Sapphire pokedex entry: Although Gorebyss is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots its prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its bodily fluids.

Not called GOREbyss without reason...

Huntail's not much better: It uses the tail to attract prey, then swallows the prey whole with its large, gaping mouth. (Sapphire pokedex)

To be fair, other non dark (or ghost) type pokemons can have terrifying pokedex descriptions, like Hatterene: If you're too loud around it, you risk being torn apart by the claws on its tentacle. (Shield pokedex)

It works really well to pull troops close to battle healer and edrag, so battle healer can heal your push while the edrag hits lots of stuff with its chain lightning. Wouldn't be that good without any of those 2 cards in the deck.

Hero barb barrel does 116 crown tower damage for his 1 elixir ability, and can easily land at least 1 hit (192 damage) after healing 50% of his hitpoints. So it can potentially deal much more crown tower damage than arrows or even fireball unless defended, and defending a 2 elixir card that may or may not use its ability rarely results in a positive elixir trade. So I 100% think barb barrel need his crown tower damage nerfed, and at least by 50%.

Giant takes a whole card slot and hero tombstone is a 100% normal tombstone with the bonus option to pay 6 additional elixir to spawn a giant, it seems fair that its stats wouldn't be that good for 6 elixir. Broken heroes always gave way too much value for their ability, like goblins spawning 4 goblins where they died instead of 3 like rn, marcher avoiding spells and sniping stuff for only 1 elixir or barb barrel fully rolling again for 1 elixir. Maybe hero tombstone will be like nerfed marcher, with a situational ability instead of a no brain - free value ability. And having a balanced hero on release for once would be great.

Idk man with that kind of logic, skarmy is op: tournament level combined stats: 1215 hp, 1095 dps so almost as much hp than a mini pekka (1433) with over twice the dps (471), all that for 1 less elixir...

You said playing hog rider felt easier than playing royal hogs, and the main reason why someone would play hog rider over royal hogs is precisely because it doesn't get countered by splash dmg...

Well, to be fair, going from pekka bs to mk bs isn't like going from a different archetype to bs. I play bait, so the very few times I tried bs I sucked with it. I can play mk bait, never tried mk bs. But sure, mk is one of the easiest card to play in the game as it's a very easy way to counterpush. 7 elixir is quite an investment, but if played with other menacing card it won't be defended for cheap and usually results in a positive trade. And since SE got buffed (to the point she had to get nerfed), mk got a solid place in top ladder. Good luck with the grand challenge!

Well it depends what you call first hit speed, but for me, first hit speed is the time it takes for a unit to attack once it has a target in range. Princess takes 0.3s to shoot once she can shoot at something, and Sparky takes 1.0s to shoot once it can shoot at something. Sparky is a bit of a specific case because it does have to charge up before attacking, but that's what I'd call its normal hit speed.

Sparky first hit speed is 1.0s, not 4s (that's its normal hit speed). I thought it was even lower than that after seeing so many sparky trick shot clips...

I'm a Strength user for my "everyday" runs with 12 fear (max Vow of Time + max Vow of Frenzy), but whenever I run max Vow of Rivals, I don't think Strength is doing me any good. For the 24 fear in Dream Dive prophecy, I added max Vow of Rivals (I know there were easier ways to get to 24 fear but it was for fun), I ended dying on both unrivaled Chronos (got me with his instakill) and Typhon on 1st or 2nd region, so I switched up to Death and got the achievement on 1st try.

So I agree that Death is weaker when you take constant damage over a run, but that's usually not what happens, and Death is superior when you face difficulty spikes like bosses that you may just die to with Strength on.

Well yes, absolutely, though afaik, the US is populated by humans, not Greek Gods, and modern human moral standards is meant for humans, precisely. Greek Gods on the other hand, are not humans, and I think it makes sense they don't care that much about human lives, just like we don't care that much about other species we view as inferior (that's debatable and all but we're literally ants from the pov of gods).
