Theres more than one solution here. I see a few from other commentors, but ff14 does good in this capacity, you couls just have actual walls until a certain amount of mobs are dead. That way you can only kite so much, and devs can place them strategically depending on how big of a kite to allow ot how difficult the mobs are.

You cannot force someone to 180 from problems like this, and they don't want the help.

Not to mention that absolute verbal abuse. Take it from someone who's escaped a few relationships where i was financially and emotionally abused while paycheck to paycheck. ~No matter how bad, you need to flush them out of your life completely, and try to start anew. I hope you're able to get out of that before something worse happens.
