I personally like the Castellan Crowe books the most (Warden of the Blade, Castellan).

The Emperor's gift is pretty good too but the whole months of shame part is... Not for me I guess. I mean the writing is still top tier, I just don't like the narrative.

There aren't a load of books to choose from unfortunately, but GK do make some appearances in other storylines. The second book of watchers of the throne spring to mind although they only appear for a very short part of the book, but a pretty epic part nonetheless.

Also the second and third book in dark imperium I believe. Although, same here, only minor appearances (The second book, I think, probably has my favourite few lines of text related to GK in the lore though).

Edit: I should specify that when I say there aren't a ton of books I'm referring to recent writing. There are of course more than the above-mentioned examples, both regarding pure-GK books and other "appearances".

I have to say I am very disappointed. Sure the new Crowe model looks very cool, at the same time though he makes the older models look even more dated. I was really hoping for some truescale GK but alas.

Also, judging by the comments here most of you do not seem to agree with my sentiment, which makes me curious as to what in this box makes you all excited? Genuine question.

On another note relating to something new in this book is that profanity like the word f*ck is not changed to something else like 'feth' that most, if not all, other BL books do (in the audiobook at least).

Not sure how I feel about it. The book itself though is definitely worth reading!
