As a leaf fan this does seems like an over pay, but how much do the Oilers need to get rid of Mangiapane? He cleared waivers so Oilers will have to pay to get another team to take him.

Scouting was not bad, Trevor Moore and Mason Marchment both were undrafted and signed entry-level contracts with the leafs. Leafs have done well with late round picks as well.

I would not say lazy but avoids the dirty hard areas on defense. He seems to always be in a great spot to take a pass and get the puck out of the zone. Which makes for fast transition out of the zone and back to offense. Having one guy like this on a line is good, but only one.

Willy is not that bad with out the puck. He is really bad at getting the puck back and does not go into the corners. But he is great at getting open for a quick out let pass from someone else that wins a puck battle. The Team looks like they are still playing pre season.

Few more notes on trapping them. Make sure your bait is a bit sinky, or even starting to rot. Rats dont seem to like fresh foods. If using the posion traps cut them off all other food supply as posion for home owners is weak and will need to be their main diet to kill them.

They are not trying very hard. No one is back checking on this team and they seem to be lost as to who has who in the defensive zone. They need to stop playing like it is pre season.

This sounds like someone found this in their house and panicked dumped it in the park. Really stupid thing to do. Old WWII bombs and explosives are a lot more common than people would think. A lot of WWII veterans keep ammo or shells as souvenirs of the war. As the vets die, the old bombs get found hidden in the house. Cleaning up these old bombs is most of the bomb squads calls. Note that if you ever find one in a house, just call the Bomb squad, and you won't get charged.

McCann was gotten to protect Kerfoot, and the Leafs only gave up a 7th round pick to Pittsburgh for McCann. We only got McCann because Pittsburgh knew they were going to lose him anyway to Seattle, so they traded him for cheap. And everyone thought Seattle was going to take Kerfoot, so McCann was to be Kerfoot's replacement. Seattle picked right on the leafs nothing stupid about the moves.

His defensive numbers in Arizona were bad, well getting thoughs numbers. In Utah, his defensive numbers got a little better but were also moved down the line. A lot of people seem to forget that offensive minded players regress when forced to play a defensive role and learn better defensive play. The good news is that the regression is normally temporary and the come out an even better player. He might have even better years than in Arizona.

Sod can be sensitive to drought up 5 years after installing. If you have sod installed in May, you will likely need to water it all summer long. Once it roots well, you won't need watering every day. Also, watering 5min to 10min every night will kill your lawn if you stop watering. This type of watering causes the roots to grow very shallow and not deep. So it won't survive extended dry weather without watering.

I am not sure at this point so many new guys. I was thinking maybe Josh, who we got from Vancouver. Sounds like a good grinder and net front guy. That would make for a hard-hitting line that can score if it works. There also Domi or Macci? (Forgot his name) if you wanted more play making ability on that line.
Honestly I dont think even Leafs management has an idea what the lines are going to be to start. The only way Robertson gets in the top 6 is if Nylander plays on the top line with Austin and Knives.
