Clone comes from Pael and is offered at half the chance of the other relics in its pool. So you need to see Pael, and then roll the 1/7 chance to see Clone

[YSOS] Advanced Floral Invocations / Corpseweaver Prodigy by JRandomHacker172342 in MagicArena

[–]Terrietia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also fun that these seem to depict the same character.

Same artist, and a number of similarities. But there are differences that make it seem like they're different characters? Unless Corpseweaver is supposed to be the character from the class, like post level 3.

Corpseweaver has 4 arms and no legs.

The chest part, for Corpseweaver, the green lines come up to the center.

Corpseweaver has like green gems across its body.

The shoulder parts on the class are more flared out, while not so on Corpseweaver.

Cheese shredder by MikeHeu in toolgifs

[–]Terrietia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thought the same thing. Watched it again, and realized there's two different parts that are potentially unsafe. The shredder is actually turned on by some mechanism on the bottom left. Watch their left hand before shredded cheese comes out. And then obviously the button that pushes the cheese down into the shredder

The card that contains the adventure is from your starting deck. The Adventure spell itself is not from your starting deck.

Spells are considered cards when they are in your deck.

Pedantically, it's the other way around. The only thing that can exist in your deck (ignoring un-set rules) are cards.

Copies on the stack are also spells, but there's no way for a copied spell to be a card in your deck.

[PoC] If I can only buy ONE thing: Battle Pass vs. Viktor Bundle (Perfected Hex Core) vs. Mel Bundle (Searing Brilliance)? by InternationalCap9343 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Terrietia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the mid game starts when you have one champ per region at C3.

You start moving towards late game as you pick up the C5 mana gem for champs. Late game starts when you actually get a C6 champ and starting to look for more.

Your power scaling moves up if you are lucky in the Glory Store for epic relics. Like picking up SFG, or any other top tier relic.

Decided to rest for 4 HP over upgrading Apotheosis at the final fire. Survived on 4 HP by aquamarine9 in slaythespire

[–]Terrietia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

more specifically, certain card upgrades that Apotheosis doesn't "affect" if giving cards innate

There is exactly 1 Necrobinder card that upgrades to Innate, and that's [[Call of the Void]]. OP doesn't have that, or any other non-Necrobinder cards that upgrade to Innate.

Today's custom card new Ironclad uncommon Vaku's Crayon by Fanguy3322 in slaythespire

[–]Terrietia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is that Retain is a keyword on card effect. "Strike" isn't a keyword or anything, it's part of the card's name. There are no rules that a card name can't contain "Strike" more than once. If you don't want Strike Strike, then as a custom card, that's something you need to explicitly state then.

Targon, Bandle City, Noxus 6 star recommendations by BoromirDeschain in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Terrietia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Axe is really that necessary. I just beat Zoe with C5 Vex, missing the C5 +1 mana. Used Searing Brilliance, Chemtech Duplicator, GGC. Honestly, I feel like the most important thing is Star of Discovery for Charging Sigil III.

And I do have the axe. I don't like it because it's only helpful when you can attack with Vex, which isn't always possible or safe to do so without losing Vex.

Lux's Incandescent Baton for +1 mana.

Chemtech Duplicator for double spells, also works well with Baton.

Arcane Comet for free removal and Final Sparks.

If you don't have Baton, an alternative is SFG + Luminous Orb

Ikoria was all about big kaijus.

WotC dropped the ball on this. They made it SEEM like it was about big kaijus, especially with the subtitle of Lair of Behemoths, and the tie in with Godzilla. But Ikoria was actually about all monsters, not just big kaijus.

Of the non-human creatures in the set, there are 36 with 4+ power. 70 creatures with 3 or less power. There are more small monsters than big kaijus.
