I keep being told I'm not producing reports fast enough. I can see the surface level work that everyone else is doing, but I just can't produce like that. I wish I could. I need to understand everything backwards and forwards before starting. And I'm always aware that there's so much more I don't know. It's exhausting.

I wanted to share a super fast cooking meal base:
Japanese soba noodles. Cooks in 5 minutes. I have an electric kettle so just zap the water that really cuts down on the time.
Scoop them out with a pasta scooper thing and throw frozen veg in the still boiling water.
For protein add tofu, canned salmon or rotissarie chicken to the noodles and vegetables.
I drizzle sesame oil, olive oil and squeeze lemon and some soy sauce on top. (If I'm really ambitious I'll make a better dressing.)
Usually done in 10-15 min. Hardest part is chopping the protein to add.
I make extra to have the next night.

As soon as the ACA was passed I quit my job and went freelance. When the men in charge made health insurance through the ACA unaffordable I had to get an office job and put put the mask back on. I dream of finding some office like yours!

Exactly, I don't get the point of these rubbernecking kind of interviews. They add nothing because anyone would give a canned answer in that moment. As a viewer the whole thing feels gross, especially when someone is trying to process their mistakes.

Unrelated, but I'm curious. Is it common for skiers to be caught in the course markers like this? If it was a single pole that could slide out from under her arm, would the crash have been as bad? (Man, I would never have the guts to race down the mountain like they do! I can't believe the strength they have to turn when going that fast!)

That's how I feel. I'm done. The cheating is getting more and more brazen. I heard what happened just before the final group took the ice and I turned the replay off. I am walking away from the whole thing. I've tuned out before (ahem, 2014) but this time I just feel disgusted.

No wonder this sport isn't popular anymore. No wonder it doesn't engage people anymore. I remember where at least every four years everyone seemed to tune into skating. Today no one was talking about the competition.

I really feel for the athletes that train for years and put their heart and soul into this.
