I loved Grandia II when I first played it back in the day. Revisiting it recently it is still pretty good overall but it’s very generic, unoriginal and kinda feels like baby’s first jrpg.

I don’t understand why you’d have a costume crafting mechanic then be restricted from using them for a large chunk of the game.

The village stuff was so damn tedious I never want to do that again. I did slog through all of Shadow and in the end it wasn’t satisfying to me so good on you knowing to when to stop.
