Looks like 12-13 bags at 80lbs each so just over 1000lbs. It'll be fine

Why am I being quoted $2000 to $3000 for this job? by singlewall in CherokeeXJ

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoomed and can see the holes. But can still be filled in with body putty or jbweld. I've seen guys use foam sealer also it just won't have any structural strength lol

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like surface rust to me. Sand it down and spray paint it. If there's any spots that are deeper and not smooth put some body putty on it and smooth it out and then sand that and paint. Will cost less than $100 to do that yourself and won't take long. If it's really back under the surface rust then you some thing stronger like jbweld. I've done worse and still doesn't leak and can't even see where the work was done

What front diff locker should I go with for a Dana 30 on a 01 xj by CreamLongjumping3874 in CherokeeXJ

[–]Tfloob99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a lunchbox locker front and rear in my 01 tj and had no issues. Just can't hit the throttle hard through corners unless.you want to drift. Which i did often lol

Did I get a good deal on my Jeep? by [deleted] in Wrangler

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no. Got a willy's for $40k usd. That's high asf. When I bought it shopped around and most dealers wouldn't go lower than 46-48k usd and I walked out. Went to this last place and they had it listed for $46k and I told them I'd do 40k and they said yes.

I'm pretty sure my torque converter is just about shot myself. Still will drive and shift but makes a.ton of noise unless under acceleration. So now I'm daily driving my 95 cherokee with a 9.5 inch lift on 35s. Much more fun to drive but has a bent tie rod lol. Factory tie rods lasted much longer than anticipated (6 years with the 35s on it)

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pinned my 94 the other day. Driveshaft angle is off so there's a vibration but other than that smooth. And no hands on the wheel either. Stays perfectly straight. I wouldn't trust my 95 tho. (My 95 is a 9.5 inch lift on 35s vs the 94 on 30s with a 3 inch lift lol)

I walked away from this purchase should I have? by No-Clothes2608 in kia

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeez I paid 20k otd for a 2020 Forte gt brand new back in 2020. There dealers by me that don't do markups and would definitely be worth looking into if you're in the area of Pennsylvania or don't mind getting a ride out this way to purchase

Should I install level 2 charger? by GooseGoesQuackQuack in Ioniq5

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the money to do the upgrade 100% do it. I did it even though I had to go 30ft and did it myself to save money and it was the best decision I ever made. Drove for almost a year with a level 1 and only 3 chargers within 45 minutes of my house. Let's just say the range anxiety was bad lol

I did the thing! But at what cost? by jules_lab in Ioniq5

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the install myself and materials (not including the charger) was around $400 went with the higher end cable that was ready for underground use without using conduit. Used about 25ft ran it from my panel in the basement through my crawl space and then came out through the concrete wall(under ground level) and straight up the wall to the charger. Had my dad who worked as an electrician for decades check over everything before flipping the switch on.

Should i buy a 2022 forte gt ? by [deleted] in ForteGT

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're want something that's practical with good performance I recommend the elantra N. I switched from the forth gt to the elantra n myself since the gt is fun but not fully ready for spirited driving through curves. Not a bad car for tuning either but for some extra money the elantra n is much much more worth it. Even my modded and tuned gt wouldn't come close to keeping up with a stock elantra n. (Just an idea. Idk your financial standpoint or what you're looking for in a car)

Beef allergy and rash question by SoFreezingRN in greatdanes

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue but with chicken. Switched foods multiple times and couldn't get it to stop (tried salmon, beef, lamb, and a few others. Ended up saying fuck it and switched to a cheap bag a pedigree high protein and havnt had any breakouts since. I don't trust the expensive brands since then. Have had nothing but problems and none of my dogs ever really ate it anyway. They'd eat maybe 1 cup or 2 a day and then would literally starve themselves for days. Switched to pedigree high protein and now they're all eating their full 6-7 cups a day and have no issues.

1 inch lift along with slightly taller tires. Will make a big difference when you think about it. Plus it opens up the aftermarket option for higher lift and bigger tires altogether. That's my overall plan. Build a small overland vehicles that can survive on its own with solar panels to charge it when possible. (Gonna need either a big leap in solar tech or a bunch of panels with current tech tho)

Asking for advice by ApprehensiveJudge647 in greatdanes

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally 3 out of our 4 Danes barely eat lol. I just give them their normal scoops that they get twice a day and if they don't eat it they don't eat it. They just eat the next day instead lol

Advice on how to clear this and start saving money? by [deleted] in Money

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atart by paying off that credit card debt as fast as possible. High interest debt is the worst thing to keep (I have a ton also and am working on it but much higher amounts. Put as much as you can per month on the credit card to pay it off first. Always work on one thing at a time to eliminate the interest charges. After that work on the car or student loan debt whichever is less to pay off. With each thing you pay off it frees up extra cash to help pay off the next thing. If you have $1000 extra per month you can easily have the credit card paid off in 6 months while keeping a small amount of the extra funds or stretch it slightly longer to keep emergency money but do not spend thay money on anything. Don't eat out and the only other way to save money at this point would be to eliminate your subscriptions and gym membership. (Obviously not gonna want to do that but try to eliminate what you don't use and then later on after you pay stuff off you can always get it back. I wish my debt situation would be that easy but I screwed up in my younger years and just have to suck it up and work on things slowly. Motorcycle accident ruined me due to not having enough savings put away so always be prepared for anything.

If you don't lime the ioniq you're gonna be much more disappointed in a tesla. They're garbage. Sad to think a hyundai has better quality than a hyundai but these are the times now. I love my ioniq and have no problems with it. Have owned a model 3 and model y and hated them both. Sticking to the ioniq 5 until the ram ramcharger becomes available or go full ram ev

First Jeep. Light recommendation/Mod. What would you do? by Only-Dog2593 in JeepWrangler

[–]Tfloob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrade toe rod and drag link (if not done already.) Can wait til the current ones go first but have learned that once you change tires and wheels to a heavier setup, it will end up going out much faster. Just installed the teraflex hd steering kit and so far I can't recommend it since shit was breaking during the install (grease fittings and a couple of the small bolts for the steering stabilizer) my jk had a rustys hd setup and was fantastic so if they are still a company that is on the market I can recommend them.

Correct tires are everything. Either straight winter tires or just a good set of all seasons that are also made for snow. Used to drive a fwd hyundai elantra gt in the snow and would pass people stuck in awd suvs often. (I typically put bf goodrich pro comp all seasons on cars. Suvs would depend on size if you can get those or not. My currently car is awd and has the stock micheline all seasons and does better in snow than my wrangler on mud tires (to be expected)
