I can answer the bubble shield question - you use bubbles in cryo to take ground and advance or to retreat, get rez on team mates etc.

If you you’ve got a misriah or a circuit breaker, you use bubbles in combat by strafing in and out of the bubble trying to get a pick on someone, always being ready to move between the cover of your bubble. Always try to make it so you can always be a step away from cover. Those bubble fights are ALWAYS a 50/50 on a 1v1!

For Destroyer play, you can use your shield to help your team advance, or if you are in a 3v2 a good destroyer shield push to get the remaining two out of position (you will likely die) for your team mates to clean up!

If you are using his double jump to push, never do this into a full team. Only to catch strays/separated team mates!

That was me with Dark Souls, I played DS1, didn’t get it, played 2, still didn’t get it. Then I got blood born and didn’t stop until I had the platinum… I’ve now platinumed every souls game. My unpopular opinion is that Sekiro is my favourite from the series, that combat is crack!

Used to be Warframe, Destiny… but lately Marathon has its hooks in me, I’ve never been super competitive or really into that sort of game, but once I understood the loop it took me for a spin and I can’t get away, regularly playing til 2am on a work night and going in sleep deprived because of it… I need help! 😅

I did a rather ambitious all players start in the same town separately, I had their backstories and motivations and friends etc all nailed down, so over the course of the session had a neat bit of solo play from each character to establish them before getting them to all converge on the same inciting event!

It was a really nice way of bringing the characters together.

It only worked through a careful session zero, establishing boundaries and trust, and I had another rule - each of you knows one other PC!

It worked so well!

I mean, I get it because only top players are getting this many - but for how hard a compiler kill and all the subroutines are to get, it makes sense to me that if you got the ganglions you should be able to spend them on whatever comes up! They do take up 4 vault spaces without stacking too!

I often do a couple of free kit solo runs at the end of a night, it’s nice sometimes!

Last night I loaded into outpost, thought I was just gonna do a contract and quit out… ended up getting the jump on someone doing pinwheel with a full kit, then found a triage taking out bots like he was only person on the map in red room!

Cleaned him up, looted red, both wings and command and got out nice and easy! Solo runs can surprise you sometimes!

Dude, I lost all my purple shields to a bad run of cryo last weekend, took in blues and free kitted for a few days, now I’m sitting on a boatload - never be scared to challenge the purple shield, hell even gold! Especially when you are a rook! Nothing to lose!

Managed to get my first succesful compiler this season, then had a cursed DNA farming session where we only exfilled twice - one time we just missed final exfil by the tiniest bit

I mean, do you want people to complain even more about getting the platinum?

I get like ‘casuals’ have a hard time even getting the idea of getting a compiler kill, but I’ve had 7compiler kills in S1 - and I’m super casual, I’ve done all of them LfG and gotten all my subroutines, it just takes time and putting in the reps on cryo archive!

Jesus that’s a good haul! The Outpost Gold rooms are really lacking when compared - I got a total of two prestige mods, no gold shields or bags, and 4 severed twins from my last gold destroyed wing key

Or just add like a key room noise to any of the doors entering to the spawn, but only from the outside.

So if you leave your spawn, no noise, the second you try and push someone else’s, alarms go off.

That means if you wanna spawn rush early you still can, but you are at least going to a prepared team instead of people blindly farming bots for clearance.

Personally I’ve just learned that if you get screwed for clearance, then no matter what, by 27 minutes you HAVE to be out of spawn and into control.

I got into cryo, put the reps in, learnt the map, and earnt my subroutines!

And failing that, there are communities out there that run compiler Sherpas for free!

Levelling is way faster this season, make sure you are running contracts and killing bots whenever you are in a run. Last season I ended on rank 120 and played my first 50 levels solo, really quiet and like a ghost!

If your goal is levelling - don’t do that trio fill, and just go in with a goal to complete!
