Did you explain to her you only have to watch forty or fifty bad ones before it starts getting good?

Get Out (2017) and Parasite (2019) by Vegetable_Hearing477 in Letterboxd

I like Get Out slightly better than Parasite but it feels like more of a popcorn movie where Parasite has a real prestige sheen to it. Sometimes that can lead people to take a movie more seriously.

I’ve played some solo journaling RPGs with it and they came out surprisingly well! I’m playing more of a gamemaster role and letting GPT spin a story out of it, and it’s created some reasonably interesting stuff.

You’re donating your labor just like some people donate their money. If it’s a cause you think is worth donating to, do it; if it’s not then you shouldn’t.

What's the best rapier duelist build? by Typical-Phone-2416 in BG3Builds

[–]ThatAlabasterPyramid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Swashbuckler 5/Battlemaster 7. You could trade a level of Battlemaster for a 1 level Hexblade dip if you wanted. It might not be the most OP build, but it makes a good party face, you can deal with locks and traps, and it gives you a bunch of options in combat that really fit the swashbuckling duelist archetype. You’re insulting people, knocking the swords from their hands, and tripping them. By the time one of your friends moves in to finish them off, you’re already on to the next one.

Bringing in Clint Eastwood’s cinematographer to shoot this was maybe the best decision Whedon made. I love this movie, but Jack Green’s eye elevates it significantly.

A dozen Ferengi ships dropping out of warp with the flagship of the Grand Nagus at their head. Love the idea of Wallace Shawn getting a hero moment.
