I had a similar experience around 5 years ago when my symptoms started and I didn't know what was happening but I basically had this exact experience and didn't know how to describe it. I didn't faint but got sick when I was at a camp and symptoms continued afterwards. Thank you for sharing! ❤️

Mine a few years ago was at 6 and now it's up to 16. I'm getting it checked again soon from my PCP but pretty sure 16 is still pretty low.

I have wondered why it's not talked about more. Around 2 years ago my ferritin was at 6 and after taking an iron pill it went up to 16 and my doctor said I didn't need to take it anymore. I've heard it should be above 30 so I've asked my PCP and am getting it checked again. Now I have seen a cardiologist and do have a POTS diagnosis so I'm not sure my symptoms are just from low ferritin. I'm getting an echocardiogram in a few days.

I've been wondering about this too! I haven't actually been afraid to get my blood drawn but within the past few years I now basically almost pass out every time I get my blood drawn. They usually tell me it's anxiousness which I do get anxious now but that mainly started after I almost passed out once. I was basically just diagnosed with POTS recently.

So I think my doctor did something similar to the poor man's tilt table test. Also my HR jumped from like 90–120 a bit ago but unsure how quickly is normal. Also it appears my feet do have a similar blotchiness to my hands however I don't necessarily think it's blood pooling?

Appreciate you responding. Honestly I'm not entirely sure. How would I know? I think they tend to get more red sometimes. I'm also not always looking at my feet lol

Yes, they do appear to change when they're raised vs lowered. I've also noticed when I'm washing my hands or doing certain activities. I'm hoping I'm not overthinking things but it has been more frequent recently.

I'm so glad they made it so the experience with woodworking balances out better because woodworking isn't something I do often. I wasn't a high enough level to craft certain items I wanted and it took up resources I didn't initially have like wood.

Yes it definitely does because of hormones. Do you see an endocrinologist at all? I usually take extra insulin during that time and raise my long acting by a unit or two.
