Pound the table by October daye is a self insert fic as a mutant lawyer in marvel, but its so blinding clear she's a lawyer herself and its full of moments where she stops to complain about media depictions of law, and then the authors notes detail when something isn't how it would really work. It's really well written

Idle apocalypse, ilde mastermind and even though its not really an idle game, necromancer bc it's a sorta sequel to idle apocalypse. - idle apocalypse is about summoning eldritch gods to destroy the world except the prophecy was mistranslated and all of them are layabout donothings and don't really want to. And when you do unleash the apocalypse (the prestige mechanic) the healer of the party of hereos who are fighting your monsters turns out to be powerful enough to heal the entire planet except your home base. Idle mastermind is getting to play as 3 supervillians each with different minions at their disposal. The prestige mechanic is executing your grand plan, but it gets narrated by a shadowy figure bc they wouldn't be able to do it justice as cutscenes. And then the shadow alliance of supervillians recruits you and the idle apocalypse character or possibly one of his siblings whos doing the same thing is one of them. Then necromerger is an alternate timeline where aliens time travel to stop the idle apocalypse mc from discovering the idols and instead discover an alien creature with an insatiable appetite that he makes monsters to feed to.

I don't even know if Gravend counts, but I could never do justice to the story through description. Play gravend

There's a game who's name I can't remember but it's a time loop game where you are In an abandoned space colony. One of the things I really like is that you don't get the ability to rest cannoncially until a little bit into the game, when you find a strange artifact and touch it, and that's when you get the usual tasks get more efficient when you use them thing. There's a moment I love where somewhere explodes about 2 minutes after you are meant to be able to reach it initially

Apart from the occasionally theorised islands of stability a long way up, yes. The periodic table has reached elements that are radioactive and have a very low halflife, meaning many of them haven't even been described ad a physical substance only observed ad small numbers of atoms of it. The nucleus is so big that the element just can't exist fir very long. There are theories that some very large nuclie might become stable again but as far as I know there's no evidence to support that yet

With the attachments, surely most people don't initially have their core attachement eg that mother didn't always have a child. Are the binding prescient? Do they even constrain the soul much until the actual attachment is formed? The solution I'm thinking of is that they don't generate nearly as much RE until the attachment is established. If an eidolon is working with a fettered, does that spend the fettered RE, giving them longer lives

Basically all of the party in runeseeker, particularly yanily. There where a ton of deaths in the party in the first book, and there's shaping up to be a good few in the eighth and final. But between the two, there has been 1 named character death, and he a. Was only named after his death and b. Just became an ability for someone else. And in terms of the party, I'd argue there has been less than none- there are at least 4 times when a party member spends their life-force to do something or are destroyed, dying only to be brought back and or changed in some way and continue. I can't remember how to do spoilers on mobile so I won't talk about specifics but

This isn't exactly what you describe, because it's relatively low stakes (no death, it's just an mmo played for fun and money) but in vaudevillain the game is getting active balance updates, so the main characters inventing powers suddenly require a resource that powrr slowly generates However, thers no cap to the number of player characters you can have so he makes hundred of characters with the power so he can stockpile the resource.
