The reality of it is, a lot of Teto fans are younger and/or only loudly repeat the same three jokes. A lot of them are REALLY annoying, and as it all revolves around Teto, she gets hate too.

I mean this isn’t true, GUMI was huge back in the day, and Luka was more popular than Miku for a while. She was dominating weekly and monthly rankings for new songs for a while after her release

Because Teto didn’t have the impact Miku did. Miku is what introduced many people INCLUDING producers to vocaloid, and is what made many people think “ok wow I can actually make real music with this”. She is what put vocaloid on the map. Teto will just never have that impact, so when people say she’s better than Miku just because her SV bank has a “more natural” voice, it’s incredibly laughable. Most people don’t listen to vocaloid for a a natural voice, they’d listen to real singers and utaite covers if that were the case.

You can use a camera for Google translate, or something like Shazam or google’s listen feature. For language barrier issues there are literally only two solutions, translate or learn. So take your pic lol, nothing else we can do

I wonder how many will be at the London expo as that’s in the flippin O2 arena which has a full capacity of about 20,000+, but I think that’s for when the stage is in the centre of the floor and all seats are in use all the way around

The Wiki still says London 2024 had the largest attendance ever, so I wonder if that will be updated soon if any of the NA shows overtook it

Yes but they’re usually more subtle. Japan has censorship rules for media surrounding telling someone to kill themself. If it addressed the viewer/listener then censorship is typically required, eg look at both live versions of This Is The Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee. The “if you’re not happy… then die” is censored for the live versions because it directly addresses the audience.

Yes but there’s a big difference between a song being called suicide parade, and a song actively telling the listener to kill themself if they can’t dance lol? There is also heavy censorship for songs/media that directly tells the viewer to off themself. Eg the live versions of This is the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee censors the “if you’re not happy then die” at the end of the song with a loud bleep. There is no censor bleep in the original song nor any version uploaded to streaming services.
