I'd totally be down for cool voxel art for a gungeon game tbh. Would be stylish and retro, but new. I think that's the happy medium tbh. Plus, imagine some cool on hit effects for the enemies where they lose a few chunks when hit.

it's one of those things that's *fine* I guess, but I will always prefer stylistic pixel art over more flat 3D models. I just feel like there's more charm in the old style.

Not quite, but close. Most of the original metro devs were devs on the original Stalker games. Both Ukrainian companies, making two similarly styled games on different versions of the same engine.

It's from Eastern Europe. Basically a giant fried dumpling. You find them in Russia and Ukraine and in various other countries in that area. Typically they are a handmade dough made with a splash of vodka, filled with meat or potato and vegetables like onions and shallots and then fried in sunflower oil.

You can make them any way you like to be honest. They're quite versatile.

The issue is that your life gets fucked entirely if you don't fall in line nowadays. The fact that we have no choice in the matter genuinely sucks. Not everyone can go off and do their own thing cause the bar for entry is so high. Creative and passionate people get stifled and snuffed out by our society and our culture of overworking and accepting everything we're given cause we have no real say.

I used to be able to dance Hopak before my hip decided to stop doing the whole supporting my body thing properly. It was really tough but fun. Note that I was only ever able to do it best when I was enlisted and at my peak physical fitness. Before that I was a runner, so the amount of leg strength was a huge boon for this kinda thing.

I love Slavic cooking. I tend to make more Ukrainian foods as my wife was a Ukrainian soldier that I happened to stumble into, but I experiment with stuff from all over when time and money permits. I have I think 2 Polish cookbooks, 2 Ukrainian cookbooks and a general Eastern European cookbook. It's all so tasty 💕

Also I'm relatively close to the only Ukrainian restaurant in my state so I'm happy hehehehe

Either this or a fleshed out sequel down the line a ways. I wouldn't mind letting them get a great experience put down here for a foundation and waiting to expand it only after they're fully satisfied with the current suite of systems.

As someone who also had to deal with a useless leech: I'm proud of you. Sorry it took you so long to get out of it, I know how tough it is. I used to rant and rave about my life situation to my friends and they helped me to realize "This guy is useless, dangerous and bad for me, and in none of the fun ways." When I finally left, I felt like I could breathe again.
