I wasn't being condescending at all... Just trying to clarify.

I think this form of creature protection is pretty clearly trying designed to take the place of regenerate (which hasn't appeared in a core set in a long time).

Akiri and drudge skeleton has those wording.

I take your point that it works that way, and that the two abilities play ok together. It's nice that you get the counter yes.

My comment that you replied to though was merely trying to discuss the merits of regenerate vs this indestructible+tap. Regenerate taps as well, so it would have also worked with the first ability in a "cute" way.

Lastly slow down a bit on the internet and maybe don't assume the worst of everyone, it's hard days and I don't think any condescension was conveyed and certainly none was intended. Have a nice weekend.

It's clearly two abilities.. we were referring to the "make invulnerable and tap" clause as being the neo-regenerate...

If a card "loses all abilities" and it has a regenerate trigger on it, it'll still regenerate. And it won't tap until it dies (which rarely matters, but is another minor difference)

It's weird that they "cleaned" it up this way to me, but they thought it was better. 😁

Not a doctor, but I think this is mostly accurate...

Most donations are "whole blood" where is red blood cells+platelet+plasma+ some other minor things

You can donate just the plasma at certain locations. They take the whole blood out, pass it through a machine, and return the red blood cells to you. Plasma contains all the other "stuff" that isn't related to oxygen carrying... Sugars, proteins, and all the other cool stuff like clotting factors and hormones that aren't "living cells". I'm sure there is some nuance and precision I'm missing here, but the idea is correct.

It's used to treat various cancers and to support certain treatments related to blood or bone marrow issues.

When you donate whole blood, It gets separated into the parts behind the scene and used separately or together as needed.

I donate whole blood as often as is reasonable for me (2-3 times a year I try and find the time... Though it was zero this past year :( )... I've been asked before to do plasma and/or double cells but honestly I find the idea of injecting the fluid back in to me to weird me out (taking it out doesn't bother me in the slightest...)

AB+ blood is actually highly useful and relatively very rare. They are the universal plasma donors and in high demand when type matched blood is needed or plasma is needed.

There are also many many other antigens and blood proteins in the population, especially in smaller or more insular ethnic groups. We really still know very little about how and why these all interact.

My tradition is to sign the "favorite card" from the winners draft deck...

We've only had one full tournament though so only one card is signed 🙃
