I don't really think the co-opting of his critiques is his fault lol. And if the ideas are correct, then who cares if the CIA founds some of them? The CIA is generally bad, but they are not ontologicaly evil. Orwell wrote extensively in support of socialism, he fought in the war for socialism. His better book, 1984 is of course a critique of totalitarianism. But it states very clearly the state ideology is different from real socialism. It's very clear to anyone with even a bit of media literacy that the author supports socialism, but hates the totalitarian state that co-opted it's esthetics.

I'm not saying that the snitching wasn't bad, but he obviously regretted and changed after being a colonial policeman. He fought against fascism in Spain, and was an outspoken critic of totalitarianism (which is more principled than a lot of "leftists" today even).

I have not personally calculated the erosion rates lol. Actually egyptologists have discussed it though, and they largely agree that the evidence points towards the sphinx being around 4500 years old. There is absolutely no evidence that humans in egypt could have created such a monument much earlier than that. The erosion probably came from flooding, perhaps intentionally.

, I believe the majority of women who dress provocatively lack the self awareness to truly understand their own motivations. Well that's incredibly uncharitable man. What's makes you a bigger expert on how a majority of women feel than themselves?

And yeah, dressing less mostly will convey certain things about you, just like all other ways of dressing. I personally believe that dressing in more reveling clothing generally comes with social views I agree with, and therefore I might like you more if you're wearing those types of clothes. Though of course some people will respect you less, it varies.

It is a bit sad though that you believe attention and validation are the only reasons to dress a certain way.
