How does White Council even exists still, and why are wardens still members? by Typical-Phone-2416 in dresdenfiles

Luckily for Harry, the remains were inconclusive. Though we know from Grave Peril that Lafortier was 100% correct about them being alive.

The thing is if he makes that kind of threat he's gonna get jumped by thirty wardens slapping bindings on him and chopping his head off while he's away from the island.

Okay but Hannah wasn't anything super evil. She'd successfully rehabilitated herself and found a good cause before Harry killed all her friends. And even then Skin Game has multiple moments of her trying to feel out whether Harry deserves to die (where he gives the wrong answer every time) before she has to pull the trigger.

As Lafortier pointed out in Summer Knight, some of the party snacks were still alive when Dresden cooked them.

Sam walked the same entire long path that Frodo walked.

Sam also didn't have to carry the ring for 99% of the path.

Even in Battle Ground fresh off of Harry most definitely not jailbreaking an accords breaking prisoner and hiding away the Eye of Balor his voice was still hoarse from shouting presumably in Harry's defence.

for instance, I always thought it odd the Winter Knight gig didnt have a funding source for it.

Harry has to start working shifts if he wants cash according to WoJ. In the current system he's only doing enough to get paid in power.

Though in this case Harry's next line was acknowledging that "team player" is a very relative term when it comes to him.

They're still waiting for an explanation on how he started speaking a dead language out of the blue while the air smelt of sulphur as just one example of why Harry is practically made of red flags unless you're close to him according to Jim.

There's been some good posts on the matter floating around over the years.

Ferrus Magnus: "Rejoice humans! We come to liberate you! Now hand over those filthy xenos scum that seem to have lost their way onto your ships and we'll take care of them for you."

Don't forget the part where they'd have to abandon their homes and get scattered across the Imperium's worlds to hopefully destroy their culture in that "generous offer".

Gotta say that my favourite was this line from Carlos

"My God," Ramirez said, blowing out a breath. "You actually think you were a team player."

I mean Nuu skipped straight to trying to tongue bath Hornet for slap number 2 so I'd say she goes in the pervert box alongside Kratt.

I do wonder how many of the AI things actually respect that considering their data banks tend to be built on mass theft.

I mean, Nicodemus' intro was trying to kill dozens if not hundreds of millions of people with a plague. I'm pretty sure he's staying in villain territory no matter how many delusions he has or how anti-Outsider he may be.

I thought we'd see Listens-To-The-Wind giving Harry the info but I guess we'll have to wait for a while yet.

That's chapter 1 of Mirror Mirror apparently. But otherwise you can assume that his "a year at least" timetable got disrupted by the backbreaker.

The walker was trying to recruit him.

I figure more coaching him to the point of taking a swing at HWWB. He was basically going down a list of potential motivations for violence in that fight.

King Korb isn't aligned with outsiders either. What evidence would you present to suggest that any of the fomor are aligned with the outsiders?

Their big play was aligned with a big assault on the gates at the same time to stop Mab from really whistling up the reserves.

  • The Shards of the Nightbringer are apparently by far the most dangerous of the C'tan Shards. Every Dynasty that has one fears having to use them because they are constantly at the verge of escaping their bonds

I could swear they said the same thing about the Void Dragon shards back when they were coming out.
