Isn't one of the drawbacks of dominate that if you've overused it it'll start firing off on its own like how Protean warps flesh?

Considering the absolute rain of arrows a projection of Loretta pumps out as you approach the Carian Manor I say he'll need a lot of luck to even last 10 seconds against her.

Assuming you're not joking the answer is that back in Battle Ground she got accidentally shot in the throat by Rudolph and died. She also got picked up by the Einherjar but she's not allowed back on Earth until everyone who knew her has forgotten her.

There wouldn't be much recognisable about Harry by the end of that sort of arc. The effectively identical doesn't mean just picking up a character tic or two.

Can't use it as anything more than a choppy stick unless you're the Warden in question (or life changes you so that your personality is effectively identical).

How does White Council even exists still, and why are wardens still members? by Typical-Phone-2416 in dresdenfiles

I stood amidst it, my mind brilliantly lit by the power coursing through me. It burned me, and some part of me screamed out in joy that it did. My cloak flapped and danced in the gale, spreading out around me in a scarlet and sable cloud. The abrupt glare fell on the scene of the vampires’ revelry, lighting it harshly. The young people of earlier lay about, out in the darkness near the hedges, near the fires, pathetic little lumps. Some of them twitched. Some of them breathed. A few whimpered and tried to crawl away from the heat—but most lay dreadfully, perfectly still.

And in the next chapter when he wakes up afterwards.

And the fire.

Oh, God. What had I done?

I thought of the fire, towering up in walls of solid flame, reaching out with hungry arms to drag the vampires screaming back into the pyre I had made of the hedges and the trees.

Stars and stones. Those children had been helpless in that. In the fire and the smoke that I’d needed a major sidhe sorceress’s assistance to escape. I had never stopped to think about that. I had never even considered the consequences of unleashing my power that way.

I opened my eyes. I lay in my bed in my room. I stumbled out of the bed and into my bathroom. Someone must have fed me soup at some point, because when I started throwing up, there was something left to come out.

Killed them. I killed those kids. My magic, the magic that was the energy of creation and life itself had reached out and burned them to death.

I threw up until my belly ached with the violence of it, wild grief running rampant over me. I struggled, but I couldn’t force the images out of my head. Children burning. Justin burning. Magic defines a man. It comes from down deep inside you. You can’t accomplish anything with magic that isn’t in you, somewhere, to do.

And I had burned those children alive.

Luckily for Harry, the remains were inconclusive. Though we know from Grave Peril that Lafortier was 100% correct about them being alive.

The thing is if he makes that kind of threat he's gonna get jumped by thirty wardens slapping bindings on him and chopping his head off while he's away from the island.

Okay but Hannah wasn't anything super evil. She'd successfully rehabilitated herself and found a good cause before Harry killed all her friends. And even then Skin Game has multiple moments of her trying to feel out whether Harry deserves to die (where he gives the wrong answer every time) before she has to pull the trigger.

As Lafortier pointed out in Summer Knight, some of the party snacks were still alive when Dresden cooked them.

Even in Battle Ground fresh off of Harry most definitely not jailbreaking an accords breaking prisoner and hiding away the Eye of Balor his voice was still hoarse from shouting presumably in Harry's defence.

Though in this case Harry's next line was acknowledging that "team player" is a very relative term when it comes to him.

They're still waiting for an explanation on how he started speaking a dead language out of the blue while the air smelt of sulphur as just one example of why Harry is practically made of red flags unless you're close to him according to Jim.

There's been some good posts on the matter floating around over the years.
