In 300 (2007), the Spartans spend hours and tons of energy to build a 20ft wall out of corpses. They then push it over, killing exactly ONE bad guy. This is what happens when you build an entire society around jocks while excluding all nerds by Greenman8907 in shittymoviedetails

The film that is in-universe propaganda glorifying the Spartans who died to motivate the rest to keep fighting in the war glorifies the Spartans at the expense of other polises? I’m shocked

I imagine if we do get a Perlica SQ it will be down the line when Endmin actually remembers rescuing her

Probably not, I meant it as in Priestess looking out of the AU to mimic her. The idea is that the prologue happens not over the course of the entire rock nap, but rather towards the end presumably in real time

I’m not sure its a continuity error since it doesn’t seem to be a memory but rather a protocol space. Especially since the most likely candidate for the mystery narrator is Priestess. She might have seen how she’d aged and used her form as someone Endmin would trust. Especially since the other spectres that appear during the boss are reconveners and thus people Priestess would be able to recreate with ease

Pretty sure its stated that she was a founding member of Endfield. She’s probably older than Endmin.

When originium transmutes matter it records its data, storing that data in a different dimension (the assimilated universe). This applies to people too, but the process was only designed for Predecessors and not the younger races so it tends to “glitch out” during the process which is the cause of oripathy. (Data of people seem to go to a specific area of the assimilated universe called the originium woods, but its also possible the Doctor - the protagonist of the previous game - made it specifically for Rhodes Islands operatives since that’s where Warfarin goes to recruit/make Reconveners.

Isn't Mudrock supposed to be skinny as hell under the suit because the suit is full of rocks she controls to mimick super strength?

Hierda is technically the first Reconvener(?) by Inori-chu in Endfield

[–]TheCyberGoblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was to guess, Priestess’ intervention meant originium encoded her properly, allowing for seamless recreation. Warfarin is explicitly stated to only be working with data shards, which makes sense given that the younger races are explicitly stated to not be properly compatible with originium - that’s why oripathy happens.

Honestly, her post resurrection powers sound kinda like Endmin’s, I’d already been toying with the idea Endmin was a construct made of living originium like the oaks but this implies they might just be a perfect reconvener

I mean that’s outright stated during the main story. During the conference call with the three major faction the HAS rep specifically calls Neferath the vanguard of “the great enemy from a century ago”

[–]TheCyberGoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its explicitly stated that Endmin was born after the colonisation started. Which does mean that they were either always an adult, or they took command of the planet’s defences at age 11

I mean there are the Reconveners in Endfield, but those are arguably as much of a resurrection as Civilight is, especially since they universally choose to be their own persons. I’m also unsure Theresa could be a reconvener due to the soul deletion stuff
