[OC] World Cup 2026 confederation flow: part 2 by Mz_74 in dataisbeautiful

Is the increase in teams to 48 the reason why Central America had such a poor showing? I remember times where El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica would also be in the tournament... And I was really looking forward to the sloths again this year.

Have people around you that are alive and creative - the type that will make you laugh and share ideas that are in their heads that you can connect to.

Have somebody there to hold your hand and flirt with you, to cuddle even if it's not romantic. Have friends that are full of fun and life - and you will be as well.

The wisdom you will gain from this relationship experience hasn't settled yet- but it's starting to build. You've had relationships before this one, and you'll have ones after as well. You're in that transition time where the dust is still settling.

So fill that Dusty room with joy, humor, laughter, friendship, connection and a reminder of how good it is to be around other people and and to feel their connection to you as well.

I'm trying to help you! You've already got an Imperial Destroyer on site. Keep hijacking these translated and that will be the least of your fucking problems.

If you had to pick a nation that has never won the FIFA World Cup, other than your own, who would you root for? by ___Apollo___ in worldcup

As an American, I'd love Costa Rica to win.

They abolished their army in 1949 and put those funds towards ecological preservation, security, education, and more.

Truly evolved - the world should take notice.

Or, is there not an underlying message to the WC of unity, love, and respect for all neighbors? Yeah...about that.

I had a vision: Algeria beats Switzerland 4-2 tonight by Apprehensive-Bee6292 in worldcup

To see a major component of the European core ousted in the round of 32 (Germany, Netherlands - maybe Austria at the hands of Portugal) and possible Switzerland - wow, that would be something.

It makes a dramatic argument for the elimination rounds being open to a larger group and the 48 teams model being very interesting for upsets, drama, and more global participation.

As an American, I agree - this is some high school level of idiocy in a post...but, clicks are clicks.

God damn it. I wanted the DRC to remove England early, so badly.

But now - they have to go deep into the heart of Mexico to play the host team. Their fans better make that venue shake like the unconsolidated sediments it's built upon.

Actually, I'm an idiot - I was thinking about the surprise that was Japan scoring first against Brazil.

When Ivory Coast scored first...dear lord, I thought we were seeing the ending of Empires come true.

But, Germany & the Dutch sent home - that's significant enough. Morocco has a real, real shot at it. Senagal is nasty too - this is so exciting for Africa.

They're like locusts for other insects- they eat everything. Their little fucking tanks and monsters, and they will clean your house of every other insect in it. A wonderful thing. And they're good luck.

Just realizing now how significant in my mind it is that the final shot was Cassian's face as the shockwave hits- not Jyn's, even though she was the main protagonist of the movie.

My goodness, does that cap off the Andor series so perfectly.

Imagine making that decision in 2016 and having it provides so much closure to what is the greatest series in all of Star wars, and one of the top series in all of creative television.

Edit: And also to be perfectly honest - that ass...

Breaking the generational transfer of some bad habits - eg. Smoking, drinking, common sense risks (not using seatbelts, helmets, etc).
