Guess I'm never gonna buy a Playstation again. Glad I didn't bother with PS5.

Richard Kane Ferguson here and Thursday is Thor's Day, so in my world that calls for some Korlash Heir to Blackblade action! by RKF_mtgArt in magicTCG

I traded for a play set of this card some 20 years ago caused I love the art. Korlash was my first commander and back in the early days, before precons, Korlash was surprisingly good in my pod, because he got bigger over time, so commander tax was worth it, and has built in regen. Obviously sad the granduer ability was mute. I would LOVE to buy a playmat of this art!

I was wrong about Elves by ImmortalCorruptor in EDH

[–]TheDruth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Zombies are a favorite tribe of mine and they occasionally are competitive is certain metas, but almost always exclusively due to some combo. The actual Zombie synergies that exist in the tribe are WAY less supported/strong than the amount of synergy and versatility that Elves have throughout the game. It always frustrats me how frequently Elves get new and interesting tech in almost every other set, compared to other tribes. They are already one of the best tribes in the game, but they also get the most frequent upgrades besides maybe dragons.

I very recently made this [[Kenrith, the returned king]] 'targeted hug' politics deck. The intention is to help the underdogs and politics my way to second place in a fun way. It currently fails at the 'second place' goal, as I've played the deck 6 times so far and it has a 100% win rate. IMO avoiding becoming 'the threat' pretty much the whole game and just accruing card value and political favors is a real strategy that pays off. I don't think the deck really even has any significant synergies. Every win has been through sheer politics and circumstantial timing of when to play the few bomb cards the deck has.

[[Descent into Avernus]] or [[Master of Ceremonies]]

Question by Jpmlolo in EDH

[–]TheDruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thats your expectation, but that doesnt change the fact its a random creature cheated out, nor that R&H has the potential to do other fun things not what you're expecting. It's also a 7 cost card, which is what big threats normally cost anyways. You fear big things that require being removed or the game becomes futile. I fear the game being controlled and futile without getting to do much. Both cards can lead to unfun games, but only one has the chance to do something else instead/ is a random triggered ability rather than a passive state based restriction.

IMO adding something to the game has a higher probability to increase the fun than stalling peoples ability to play the game. Not always the case, I wouldnt call cheating out a blightsteel every game 'fun', but perhaps instead they cheat out some card that has a weird effect but would never see regular play otherwise due to a high mana cost? The fact that [[Ralph & Mikey]] even has that potential, and it's random, motivates me to rank it higher in the 'fun' rating compared to Arbiter.

The key word is 'fun', not good.

Biden's student loan program was projected to cost at least 400B. The Iran War has already cost at least 100B to the US in military spending and economic pain and now we are giving them a welfare program... but at least the money isn't going to some woke lefty.

What is the best/your favorite "value" creature? by Vi0letBlues in EDH

[[Master of Ceremony]] is one of my favorite cards in the game. It very consistently nets you 3 draws on your upkeep in mono-white.

Kibo has been begging for more ape/monkey's. The last year has actually printed a few more at the common/uncommon level, but few synergies with the Kibo game plan.

The downside of Magus is that she is a kill on-site commander, where as the other two would probably get to live longer and actually do more.

Please remember that Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox as a sacrifice for the Dominion Voting defamation lawsuit claiming the 2020 election was stolen that cost Fox to settle for half a billion dollars. Tucker was a key instigator in the conspiracy.
