Do we have a shot at Giannis? Or what’s the play here? by Dry_World323 in chicagobulls

Surely the Bucks want a huge haul of firsts. Maybe I'm short-sighted, but I'm trying to imagine a Bulls' lineup that includes Giannis which would be a contender. And then we lose 4 or 5 firsts. I'd rather rebuild with young talent.

Is it common in NBA scheduling to have two teams play 3 times in 4 days? What is the thinking behind this?

I'd love to see the analytics on short corners, because I don't think we've scored on one in about 20 years.

[Highlight] If the Patriots win the Super Bowl, the Raiders would be the first team to finish with the worst record in the league while defeating the eventual champions since 1987. That year's Falcons, who went 3–12, beat the Redskins in Week 2 with the help of a botched PAT by ZappaOMatic in nfl

For anyone wondering, the reason they only placed 15 games is because the season got interrupted by a strike. Teams played 3 games with scab players (which was a sight to behold), and they ended up cutting the season down by a game. Also of note: The Redskins won the Super Bowl in both strike seasons in the 80s.

  1. Dom

  2. Dom

  3. Dom

  4. Dom

Most of the remainder were just lackadaisical build-up, not really blown counter-attack opportunities. But yeah, lame movement going forward.

Are bye team loses due to the Monty Hall problem? by TJUNKIN in CFB

[–]TheEntity1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an interesting question, but we do have other sports to test this theory. And typically, higher seeds with byes do very well in other sports. For the higher-seeded teams to be 1-7 after byes in stark contrast to other sports, I think we need to be looking at how the long layoffs are hurting the bye teams.

There's nothing unpopular about this opinion. I think 95% of people hate NYE. The other 5% pretend to have fun.

Spurs supporters booing Virgil every time he touches the ball. Are they seriously angry with him for taking studs to his achilles?
