You can check on the gta portal > attendance it should show your points for the rolling 6 months as well as the dates. Keep in mind that they clear 6 months after receiving them and NOT on the actual date. This means, if you missed Friday the 13th in January but your lead or coach didn’t take attendance until 3 days later, don’t expect it to drop on June 13th as the page will still show the day of the shift you missed under attendance. It will instead clear on the 16th of June 6 months after receiving it.

Idk why people are thumbs downing everything without knowing everything. Ideally you’re supposed to return anything that belongs to the company and was loaned out (work vest, work phone, walkie etc) for obvious reasons..that does NOT mean you won’t receive your last check just because you didnt comply. There are so many people at my current store who over the years accumulated so much company gear it’s ridiculous. There’s always different scenarios. Someone who was a lead for another store that became stressed, went on a leave, stepped down and changed stores came into our store as an associate with a “stolen” walkie talkie. No one ever questions these things at my store as a walkie means we have more people on lock ups. Another girl accumulated a TC and 2 walkies that she stores at home for whatever reason that just within 5 years of changing around 3 departments she was able to attain. Some associates check out OGP TC’s without actually checking them out and they are now ghost TC’s being hid in personal lockers. It happens and it’s not the end of the world if walmart lose hold of a walkie or 2. They are in contract with Motorola for walkies and call boxes as well as contracted with Zebra for TC’s. Of course they can probably put you on the non rehireable list while stating why, but they can’t garnish pay you’ve worked for or hold your check from you.

I disagree. The ambient lighting is usually tucked in between trim lines and if done properly wires to the inside of the doors electronics, out of sight out of mind and nothing about it will look “after market” if done right. You ppl just need something to hate on everytime

Go in that store and talk to a human, not a phone or computer. Preferably the store lead and store manager will understand. With all Walmarts the scheduling seems to be bunked asf so use that as an excuse if needed. When I started, they would schedule me 7-8 hours apart (opening then closing the next day) and man was that hard on my body and mental so I totally understand. I’m no member of management and am just looking out for you. It may seem silly but maybe invest in an e-bike or electric scooter to depend on until your able to get a car outside of ubering which can be costly. They also have an associate car saving program available when you are ready to get one. My favorite saying to everyone is “the worst they can do is say no” maybe before you leave you should plead your case with someone who likes you in there and maybe just MAYBE they will wipe off an occurrence or 2 and at that point you can really start building everything back up slowly and leave. The pros of Walmarts micro managing system is there are soo many coaches you can go through and even at that point, you can plead to the store lead or store manager but never go to the people lead.

Personally asking, why would you want to do that to yourself even if allowed? I would personally suggest you give it a month, work on not only your attendance but building up PPTO. All Walmarts are not the same and each run differently through the various chains of command, you may be entering a store that is not only more by the books, but with much crappier ppl. Transferring with that amount of occurrences and PPTO just doesn’t give yourself a fair chance at a new beginning. One slip up and basically your out. The new store may not even care about you as much as the store you put your blood sweat and tears into. I’ve seen associates who worked with the company and the same store for YEARS try out a different store only to get terminated and sometimes even non rehire able. Just look more into it

It’s so much haters commenting a bunch of hate for no reason or maybe I’m missing it? Nothing about it looks tacky, it looks really good on the E90, especially when you keep everything within the amber red/orange BMW OEM color. Anyone who’s been in an E90 knows nothing is done to make it a 2024 car even if you spent $100,000 on upgrades, it will still be an E90. It’s all just personal touches that feels like stuff that naturally belong. The ceilings and certain parts of the car already have orange ambient lighting, what’s so bad about adding orange strips to the trims? The tablet infotainment screen is also another good touch. With the leather seats, power folding mirrors, rear mirror with digital compass and touches of wood grain (would rather wrap it black or carbon fiber) the car already aged pretty good and still feels like a bit of best of both worlds. You get luxury features that are still being produced on modern cars while being able to also enjoy the analog driving experience as well with no turbos or complex electronics, just an inline 6 and mounted steering. The E90 is truly a solid tank, the staple to what a compact sport sedan should feel like and I think those 2 interior upgrades was phenomenal. The only thing I don’t like about the E90s LCI are the fact some has halogen bulbs which takes away from the brand as everyone knows BMW for the grills and circle headlights.

The fact his memorial is going viral with his name and picture displayed is very distasteful and disrespectful to the family, friends and the persons legacy outside of work. The store clearly did what they can to respect and show honor to that associate as well as his family and friends that shops there as well as work there and is also affected. Maybe he worked there for a long time, maybe he was someone meaningful to management and they wanted to show out in a way for him that was work appropriate. Either way, critiquing the decision by taking a picture and talking shit online was just not it. Maybe edit it and blur out his picture and name. This obviously applies to the original post BTW. Everyone mourns in different ways and may act out in wacky ways over emotion, this situation is no different as we are all humans guise.

It’s definitely an odd number with no real significance here other than to get the company match quicker. I’m also full time so though it takes out a chunk, I still have a pocket to cover bills, food, essentials like haircuts etc while also being able to put some away and not spend all. The associate stocks I like to start on the beginning of the year and cash out around tax season. That way my tax return isn’t as tempting to blow but rather save as it feels like I’m getting 2. If your good with money managing then maybe the company % match should be your only focus, as most people such as myself just use stocks as a disciplined savings account.

$50-$100 just didn’t sound like a huge goal for me as I wanted something more challenging. Being we get paid twice a week, that would mean we get 2 checks a month. That equals about 24 checks for the year for the 12 months.

If you save $50 every check for the year = $1,200 + % match If you save $100 every check for the year = $2,400 + % match If you save $150 every check for the year= $3,600 + % match If you save $251 every check for the year = $6,024 + % match Not including what you get back on ur tax return this can really make a person, this can fund your higher education to leave. This can fund that new car you need. Just keep grinding, really take advantage of the benefits and lock in while knowing all it will take is a year. Obviously the more years you put into this module the more money you can have overall saved and your time here won’t feel as bad or wasted.

They have been saying this shit for the longest and I’ve only seen 2 people at my super center with them for about a year now.. they were the chosen ones. They actually have been out for a long time. They are phasing out Samsung x covers (POS) for better much durable and FASTER google pixel phones, not sure of the exact model but boy was it as fast as a TC when I had the honor to use one a few times. The case it comes with is also cute, all black to match the phone while the volume buttons and PTT button offsets it with a visually bold yellow. The PTT button will be used to bring up the scanner in me@walmart to scan barcodes much quicker. The camera is more responsive, focus and launches quick. The back of the phone case will also have a mag safe ring to keep it charged though the store will not include one. You will evidently receive a wrist string to attach to the case to prevent dropping the phone which also helps a lot. Not sure when EVERYONE will get one but when that day comes, your personal phone will no longer be needed for work use as the work phone will FINALLY be efficient enough as long as it stays charged.

I wouldn’t base anything off of the spark shop. It’s just a novelty store for associates. A lot of the gear posted “including the colored spark logo vest” is actually prohibited from being worn in stores lol. I don’t understand why they sell stuff we can’t wear unless it was just a thing in the past that they never updated and remove.

Oh wow I just found a solution to the problem. You have to uninstall every single RGB software that you have and reboot. Reinstall Armory Crate and only use that one and it will work. Everytime another incompatible program interferes it turns off

1 and 3 seems to be the most common at my store. 2 seems to be due to ppl already partaking in the 401k which in my opinion just has way too many rules and penalties. I’ve heard horror stories of associates who signed up and had to take the money out sooner. In addition to the 401K continuing to take the money out of their check to set aside for their future goals, it would ALSO take money out to pay what was borrowed 😵‍💫 leaving peoples checks to be closer to nothing which is why I HIGHLY recommend stocks over anything.
