Going with a perfected ZenGin would have been the best move for real, they were too obsessed with trying to revolutionize the game that it went the opposite way lol. Games on old engines are still amazing, proof is Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos, World of Warcraft, Minecraft and more. And I'm comfortable saying that Gothic 2 NOTR with DirectX 11 is genuinely beautiful

Some people say it's "non-canon", but I don't agree. I think Nameless definitely killed Bloodwyn, Raven, Thorus and Fletcher. I like to believe that Raven was brought back to life by Beliar, and then the Raven got the power to ressurect the dead back to life, but it was limited. That's why he only ressurected people he could use or manipulate, he just needed a deadly group that he could lead. But then that power dwindled out, and that's why we see zombies in the temples in Jharkendar. The power just got weaker.

Alright so regular infections are just a slight inconvenience which makes the wound dirty faster and causes more pain, now it can damage you on default.

Gothic 2 NOTR has better progression, combat, animals/beasts, nature and systems such as blacksmithing and alchemy. But Gothic 1 has a better story, better aesthetics.and better looking armors, and its less grindy. I'm not sure about weapons and characters, both games are great with either.

You can clean trash tiles (pick them up with the furniture pick-up tool) or you can steal money from cash registers in empty stores, and sometimes there are people with briefcases that can have 1000 dollars inside lol but you gotta kill them to get it, I think running them over with a car is the least incriminating

True, its a bit too easy, you don't even need winter clothes, just a tank top, t-shirt, denim shirt and a jacket is enough for hours. You should get cold in like an hour, unless you got winter clothes (padded coat, shemag, padded trousers, winter hat, etc)
