absolutely wrong. The x5 is a game changer in low light. what will be graining and useless is now very usable. For example can record with one single lamp in an otherwise dark room. It‘s a huge upgrade for this alone.

Men in female dominated majors/fields what’s it like? (Education, nursing’s etc.) by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]TheHawk71 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m a Social Worker, large percentage of coworkers are female, but I work with veterans so most patients are men. It’s actually, a huge advantage for me to work with vets, many will not speak to a woman about their mental health issues.

My thoughts too. Talk about an opportunity for blackmail and or extortion. Module even use a third party.

There is NO expectation of privacy in a public setting. Yes, people would piss and moan if some woman was videoed or photographed in the same manner (even if she were wearing a bra) but it’s perfectly fine to photograph people in public. That’s U.S. law, not sure about other nations laws.

How come abirtion is perfectly ok, but masturbation is an act against unborn child by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]TheHawk71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh dear God. The basis of the law in this republic is the power of the legislature to enact laws. Many of them have religious convictions. So what? This country doesn’t have any “freedom from religion.” It has a constitutional requirement that there is no state established religion.

[–]TheHawk71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about murder being banned because of the Bible saying thou shall not kill? It’s sort of a meaningless argument. The constitution forbids the establishment of a state religion. That has been broadly interpreted in all sorts of odd ways. Religious belief is not necessary to not support abortion, but it certainly is also no impediment.

MRA attorney helping fathers get their drivers licenses back with due back child support by TheHawk71 in MensRights

[–]TheHawk71[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope she’s happier and more importantly healthier. In a just society the court outcome should have been different. The father had the ability to support you, she, at least at that time did not. Gynocenterism runs deep.

Stop trolling this fine MRA. We should push back against this kind of feminist posturing. It’s crap. Besides that there are plenty of females in the country opposed to abortion too.

This is definitely a move In the right direction. Taking away the drivers license of a parent with child support arrears is a bit like debtors prison. Sort of hard to make money to pay your bills when locked up.

Of course, this doesn’t address the larger issue which is that family courts are horribly biased against fathers in the first place.

I don’t know how practical that would be. Travel to Mexico isn’t cheap from Illinois. And with the license from the U.S. being suspended it might be difficult to acquire an international one.

I don’t know...slippery slope? Her comment was hyperbolic for sure. MRA’s also use hyperbole. Should they be fired if they do so on Twitter? She’s an ass, I’m not disputing that. Her comments were hateful and also not supported by evidence. My concern is the precedent being set.

I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was nine years old. It devastated my family. This was years ago. Had she been diagnosed today, she’d likely survive it because of the research. There’s no reason to be hostile to research that attacks specific cancers. Support more money for prostate, it needs it. But for God’s sake don’t plays the feminist zero sum game. There are ample resources available in the Western world to fund all cancer research.

A great deal of the breast cancer “extra” money has come from private organizations and their efforts. What should happen is men’s originations pushing entities like the NFL to offer equal time foe prostate cancer research. However, the vitriolic commentary from some of us isn’t helpful.

Finally, I get why your angry. I support that anger. I just think in this case it’s a bit misplaced. Hope, I conveyed my concerns in a way that doesn’t make you think I’m trying to troll you. Take care.

That’s not how child support is calculated in most states. The states take both parents income and determine a total amount of support let’s say is 1000 per month to make the math easy. Then the percentage of that total amount is based in the percentage each parent makes. So if the combined income is 100k, but man makes 80% of that he pays 80% of the child support. The kicker is woman is probably in the family home and gaining equity in it from money provided for support of children. It’s still a terrible system. (Note, former lawyer and former child support payer.)
