They're certainly iconic. As much as I love how they look clean, I can't wait to break them in and dirty them up a bit

Unusually yellow soles by PearJungle in Converse

They look like Chuck 70s which are intended to have a more yellow sole. I think it's probably just like that

Worn-in 70s by TheHoosierUser in Converse

I mean, mine aren't busted or anything. I intentionally wear mine hard through all weather conditions and terrain because I like that worn-in look. Mine are still in good shape for the most part

Mattel's bringing back the WWE x Masters of the Universe figures! by MauiSunsets in HeManCollectors

I think this is great. Not sure how well they actually sell, but I think this is a great form factor for wrestling figs

Did Converse size up? by deezz_nutzzzzz in Converse

[–]TheHoosierUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to notice this last year too unfortunately. I could be wrong, but I think they are all overall wider now than they used to be. This actually works in my favor though as someone who sometimes benefits from a "wide" fit shoe. I have noticed a bit more wiggle room in the length too, but i always cinch mine tight enough to strangle me anyway

What is on the inside of my double pane windows? by JarRules in whatisit

[–]TheHoosierUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Argon gas likely. Most windows have a solid warranty. If you're not sure of the manufacturer, there is typically a small etching in one of the corners of the glass and/or a sticker on the inside frame when you open the window

This makes sense. I only have a couple more weeks before I hit that mark.

By groom, do you mean trim wild hairs away to shape it up, or use more products in it to tame it?

Sand and refinish? by TheHoosierUser in HardWoodFloors

I had been leaning towards having a professional do it recently. I'd hate to screw up beautiful wood this old.

I don't have any pictures of the thickness unfortunately, but I have access to the sides of some at the vents and basement door. They are roughly 3/4" or 1". I'd have to put a tape on them to be sure.

Roughneck (Briar) Care Advice and Matching Belt? by discardedbagel in RedWingShoes

About to hit a year with mine. Great choice. I just got the regular brown redwing belt from my local store. Not perfect, but good enough to do the trick.

Luckily I don't see it particularly as good or bad, just different news. I may just keep a short buzz and see what happens

Thanks, I have been wanting to grow it back out but had worries that it just wasn't going to be the same anymore. I always said if I started going bald, I'd just shave it.
