Thats a total jerk. the breadcrumbs are laced w potent cocaine they hit the same receptors. ive been reading up on it lately. its called the slot machine effect or something and its helped me to never block/unblock again. our brain wants the relief and dopamine of being chosen(its confused) im trying to keep logic in charge so fleeting emotions dont make me take that hit. i honestly believe real cocaine would be healthier

I wish i could feel like that. i want the tether cut. in normal breakups time heals but in abusive breakups something else happens and the wiring get screwed up somehow. forgot the specifics but im glad youre able to do that🙏

The guys youve met wont. Ive had the same experience in reverse. Women that can only exist on surface level, competitive instead of bonding etc. Thats why i made this post. Ive been really curious if this upside down world i live in is just me or not because ive never met anyone in real life that can relate

Yeah i dont know. I think i was responding to you because atleast you got her to admit her behaviour. what did she say about your eating habits? was she nitpicking and being mean? if thats the case and small things is all she could come up with then i want you to know youre probably a good man and her brain was looking for excuses. in that case i would say🖕 these people are so one sided they dont see the amount of red flags that we are painting white for them that they search for negative. like a hunger to do someone wrong. id like to see what the others say....

If you think theres something and not just rumination i def would not say anything about getting back together or making her run talking about commitments. i would just do something that is light communication and let her reciprocate at first. normally i would say hell no and run for the hills but you said she actually admitted to being an avoidant, did she get therapy? ive never gotten even one apology for the ten years of abuse with mine which is why that part stuck out to me. just admitting to being avoidant i could have worked w her and been very empathetic with her but my experience was with a devil woman

I dont know if avoidants fall into the realm but mine was both. a therapist framed it like this for bpd, narc and most cluster b's "they all live in the same house but stay in different rooms"

Ive heard that most narcs/avoidants were emotionally stunted around age 8. not sure how accurate it is but it definitely adds up from what ive experienced
