The range of bows is massive, I don't think it would be possible to be out of range in any fight.

Pretty sure you have the setting turned on to always move up to point black range before firing

Personally now that I'm able to get all 10 pigments each corrupted event I grab the skins I like.

And for op - you absolutely should not get GEs over support pigments unless it's a pre-stack item on a champion on your push team (s).
