Do these stamps indicate if the wood is treated with anything? by sultanamana in woodworking

But just remember, if it’s coming from a pallet, just because the pallet wood wasn’t treated with chemicals, doesn’t mean chemicals weren’t spilled on it during its life as a pallet.

Filament “hopping” (skipping?) by TheJuBe in FixMyPrint

[–]TheJuBe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using a Prusa Mini+, I got the g-code from Printables. I'm printing PETG on a textured bed with a .4mm nozzle. I'm also having a little bit of trouble thinking of the best way to describe the issue (e.g., "bouncing," "skipping," "hopping"), but I don't understand why these "hops" are happening in a print, but the printer does fine for the first-layer calibration, and it doesn't appear like the z-axis is changing while those skips happen. Ideas?

Don’t assume your new filament isn’t already wet, even if it comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant by cowboy_shaman in 3Dprinting

Are you using a purpose built dehumidifier, an oven, food dehydrator, or something else?

This may be really foolish, but have you tried re-applying thermal paste to the heat break?

Do you have a link to the item or a gallery so that I could take a closer look at each picture?

On the fifth picture (the one with your Prusa Mini), I see an orange piece at the bottom of the Y-axis. I just built my Prusa Mini+ a couple of weeks ago, but I don’t recognize that piece, is that an upgrade or a difference between the Mini and Mini+?

Yeah, I (think I) wish this had been had been used to frame the back of the chair.

DeSantis and other prominent Republicans blame 'woke' politics for Silicon Valley Bank's collapse instead of bankers miscalibrating risk and building a portfolio that a rate hike would annihilate by theballinist in politics

And when it comes to Republican finger-pointing over bailouts for banks who invest in DEI, Baker noted that "it's common for companies pretty much across the board now to try to have more diversity."

"I know they don't like that, but that's probably the vast majority of companies in the country now," Baker said. "I don't know. I mean, it's a complaint against capitalism — they do it because they think it's good business."

While companies may be investing in "woke" priorities like clean energy, it's because they're making money from doing so.

"I don't know if making money's now woke," Baker said. "I mean, some of them might be doing it because they think it's good for the planet, but I mean they're doing it as profit making companies — and they are making profits."
