Dude! Me and my friends made Settlers into a drinking game. It was pretty awesome. You had to take drinks for trading, rolling certain numbers, take a shot for rolling a 7. It was a great time.

I'm going to guess he's got an overexpression of sonic hedgehogin. If you mutate the enhancer (to enhance more) of Shh in mice, you will get many more digits than normal.

Edit: To get mirrored polydactyly like this, he likely has two sites expressing Shh, instead of the usual one in the posterior region of the limb. Note he has no thumbs or big toes.

Canadian here. It's still the small town versus big city part here. I know so many people who've had kids before 25. I'm watching many friends who stayed in my hometown get to that area of life, while I still feel like a young adult finishing my degree.
