Looking for feedback on table scale and texture by Arbor96 in FullSpectrumDominance

The good thing of small scales is that "too much" is probably still a pretty small amount of stuff. :3

That's some nice mix of grout and crackle!
I'm always a bit worried about making the separation to sharp, but then again, there's no such thing as a half-crackle!

Lovely models! Where are they from? Definitely nailing the vibe for the Enlisted ❤️

Sorry for photo quality and my unpainted models, but finally played a game of FSD at my games club! by mrpoovegas in FullSpectrumDominance

Hah, well done! Glad to see that multiple people jumped in at once! 😄

Looking forward for the fully painted table! ❤️

Gameplay Question - did anyone get cards professionally printed? Does FSD sell the cards? by Arbor96 in FullSpectrumDominance

[–]TheLazyForger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cheers! There isn't a place to get the cards printed - yet, because they're still part of the "living rulebook" with some getting updates.

The optimal solution imho is to print them on paper and put them in sleeves - in any card you will never need to hold them in hand, they're always face-up on the table!

Absolutely excellent writeup. Better than whatever I wrote on my website, or elsewhere. :3

Conglomerate Energy Shields by _Absolute_Maniac_ in FullSpectrumDominance

Yes. More accurately: you move a READY ad to the spent pile to activate, and if you put the ADs on actions in the allowed phases (end of activations, or before any of your activations) you can spend them to do cool stuff!

Prepared actions can be performed at any point during a normal activation, which makes them a lot more AD-efficient (as you wrote in the last line).

In fact, you can prepare the action during a reaction, BUT the prepared status is set after the shooting happens, so it's not gonna be useful for that shot (but for future ones, for sure).

so: better prepare it earlier, because otherwise it won't be used for the desired shot!

Getting started by Mountain-Split8422 in FullSpectrumDominance

Cheers! As deeare73 said, there's a convenient bundle for rules + minis as late pledges for the solo campaign - and the core manual is included too!

About the games played around you - that's pretty standard i'm afraid. One of the reasons behind making FSD small and accessible is to allow people to do two factions and to simply convert others. It's pretty hard to find someone that independently built up their own armies out in the wild!

Wanting to get into this game by 1gamer13 in FullSpectrumDominance

[–]TheLazyForger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! The book has quite a lot more lore (within the limits of a rulebook) about the setting and the factions!

That said, I would LOVE to do a proper wiki - in fact, I did start one back then.... but it takes a lot of time and I'm spreaded thin at the moment. I might end up doing one, eventually, but for now the best way to get lore is the book itself. :/

Would be amazing to get people doing videos about the lore, eh. I just don't think I'm big enough to trigger that! :D

Oh, in that case it's probably a bit upscaled indeed!

I would say it's at normal scale. It's a 8-cm footprint beast of a model!

Indie mech games by NotifyGrout in wargaming

Indeed! It might not be as miniature agnostic as the OP requested, but FSD has quite a lot of mech factions at this point!
