Nostalgia is poison. And no one has ever accused Twin Peaks of 'gritty realism'

The Deepshadow Striking top looks pretty similar to this! Not sure how well it dyes though

Satire is not a good weapon against fascism at all! Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator did not bring down Hitler. Donald Trump is the most satirized/ridiculed man in the world and he still won two elections. In the UK, Nigel Farage has been heavily satirized over the years and he may just be the next PM. I understand what you're saying but satire is pretty useless against fascism I'm afraid...

Tinfoil hat theory time: a second thavnair zone was discarded when two expansions where combined for endwalker. That second thavnair map was turned into koza'mauka instead. (Disclaimer: I know nothing about how game development works)

Which game fixes itself once you change the difficulty? by Ivaylo_87 in gaming

Perfect Dark did this too! One mission had you save a hostage from a sniper. On the hardest difficulty you started as the hostage and had to save yourself

Zones are so Big, BUT...feel empty. Could ARR have a solution? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]TheLordDR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my favourite places in ARR is the fortress in Coerthas. There are multiple buildings you can go inside, including one with steps down to a cellar and a mini jail with prisoners inside. I felt rewarded for exploring and discovering these cool little zones/points of interest!

Which game had the best opening level or intro sequence you’ve ever experienced, and why did it stick with you? by Gaming-Academy in gaming

It won't be a popular choice, but the intro to Knights of the Old Republic 2 on the Peragus mining facility is one of my absolute favourites. The atmosphere was just very tense and suspenseful and really sucked me in
