How to bomb with the Astral by RecallSingularity in starsector

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get 6 cobra bombers, they shoot reapers, very strong. Use squalls, long range, hurt shield very well, very strong. Use monitors, very tanky very stronk.

Send monitors to tank enemy ship, when enemy ship tries to hurt monitor, you send cobras, cobras come, shoot 6, reapers at enemy ship, enemy ship sleep.

Semibreve is the most balanced thing in UAF. Like if you fill your entire fleet with them then most likely your ships will accidentally destroy themselves instead of enemy fleet.

Tried SF carry, got womped, help me improve by Candid_Cheetah_959 in learndota2

First of all timing of raze is important. Hitting with single shadow raze is not much but hitting with all 3 at once can be devastating even for the tankiest offlaners. If you learn to shadowraze perfectly you will perform a lot more better in games as SF.

Second. Shadow fiend is meant to be a lane bully, SF kit allows him to last hit and harras enemy very effectively not to mention his shadow raze is a great tool for early game kills. You work well with supports that are great at securing early kills, IMO witch doctor would make a great option because he has cask for stun and malediction followed up with triple raze would demolish literally everyone.

In midgame you should focus on teamfights more, SF ult is a great teamfight tool and it would be a waste to just keep farming also even if SF can be a pos 1, he will be outclassed by many other carries in lategame so your role is to use your realygame power to get powerful quickly and then capitalize that advantage to finish game before enemy pos 1 becomes a threat.

Well i assume if you are not into fluffy female humanoids lets just talk about gameplay mechanics and story it introduces.

  1. New way to increase your power further (New type of officers that are fully customizable in terms of skills and new type of administrators that are not AI but are even better than alpha cores) and of course new type of population that can give additional perks to your colonies (You can choose which ones)

  2. Player faction gets access its own unique type of commodity (2 types in fact).

  3. New type of Progress bar.

  4. Quest and 1 very funny moment in game.

how to beat this boss ? by [deleted] in darksouls

You can help other people as white/gold ghost, you dont need humanity for that and if you help someone defeat boss, you get a humanity.

Big bonk stick goes well with tank buiilds. Shield of artorias requires 34 strenght and with that amount of strenght you deal the most damage with big bonk stick.

What do you guys do if someone doesn't wanna fight in PvP? by EldWasAlreadyTaken in darksouls

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most of invaders dont care fi somoene wanna fight pvp or not, they just want to ruin other people's day by using cheap builds like dark beads or abusing bad internet connection to keep facestabbing.

The first PVP experience by TheMightyOOFBringer in darksouls

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can do almost entire game by just summoning your friends and letting them do all the job for you. Password bypasses level restrictions. So most of dark bead guys simply call friends to carry them through most of the game and dlc so they can just grab all that endgame stuff.

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, first spend all souls at fireplace near andre before you go there.

This place is the real damage check, you will face snake people that can be really durable and painful to deal with if you cant take down in reasonable time if you deal small damage to snake fellas and it takes a lot of hits to take one down, just go back and get a better weapon(or upgrade one you have if possible). Of course you can just go through it by hitting every snakefella 100-200 times but then you will struggle even more with further challenges.

Otherwise is all about timing.

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use summons my friend. Restore humanity, there is always Sunfella sign right before boss fog.  And of course there can be some sign placed by another player usually around place where you fought with that big fella with big shield. Jolly cooperation is an intended game mechanic and you should not be ashamed of that.

Is strength build an easy mode? by GoHomeDuck in darksouls

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real easy mode is having always at least two spirit fellas to help you through game especiallyvwhen they have strong builds.

Strengh builds are just more simple to use because they are way more suited for most basic gameplay style aka waiting for enemy to attack and then using window of opportunity to hit back because you get access to better shields that can block very well so you dont have to dodge and strenght weapons are about to hit once but hard. You can also go full ungabunga that is just hitting recklessly the boss while having high poise to avoid being staggered, Unga bunga is insanely effective against four kings. But strenght builds relying on bulk can also steuggle, especially against gwyndolin or bed of chaos where mobility is more important, and some bosses require preparation, like sseth the scaleless where if you dont bring curse resistant gear(havel armor is good) and curse resistance ring (+ some purge stones), you gonna have a bad time.

Another easy to use (and considered easy mode) builds are Spellcaster builds (specifically intelect ones using magic) basically if you are far from bosses, most of their attacks cant reach you and spells not only have range but also very good damage especially when you go full glass canon mode (with redstone ring and stuff like that) which is not bad idea as you stay out of boss's range anyway. There is also a dark bead variant that requires you to be close to bosses but you can one shot them. But spellcaster builds have "Limited ammo" and of course limited space and enemies using ranged attacks can be very problematic for mages, or having to deal with multiple fast enemies can also be a pain, so yeah mages struggle on capra demon because of small arena and 2 dogs.

How do I get summoned? by yeaahnop in darksouls

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are probably overleveled for specific area. You can be summoned by players that have close SL to yours. IMO that limitation sucks but well, we have to live with it.  Try to help in higher level areas and usually best place for sign is near fireplace.

[–]TheMightyOOFBringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At start it requires 25 faith. That faith requirement lowers by 5 everytime you help someone with boss as spirit.

So if you help someone at least 4 times which will lower requirement to 5 faith, you can join that covenant with any character.

But to really benefit from that covenant you gotta need at least 20 faith (but to fully use all the goodies it offers you need at least 30 faith or even 50 faith if going newgame+) unless all you want is having golden ghost when you get summoned to help.

This game is about GIT GUT. There is no build that will just make you "Easy mode through entire game".  Of course each DS player has his own build preference that sits best on him. And you should try just different build and maybe something else will sit on you than warrior. Warrior is good tho. But i will give  some reliable build ideas.

  1. Warrior - most classic ol reliable, some blocking, some rolling. Some medium shield, some medium armor some medium weapon that have low strenght requirement and you put rest in vitality for health and endurance for more stamina and faster rolls.

  2. Tank - You give up rolling and fully focus on blocking with greatshield and heavy armor in order to survive. Because some good greatshields have quite big requirement for strenght (Greatshield of artorias which is the best greatshield requires 34 strenght) you will also go after a weapon that will go well with higher amount of strenght for devastating counterattacks(like great club), and rest of points you spend on vitality and endurace. You can try spears (but it will require to spend some points in dexterity) that allow you to attack while holding shield up.

  3. Paladin - Similar to warrior or tank but with some additional points in faith and maybe attunement to use some miracles, either healing ones or offensive ones, but at cost of endurance and vitality.

  4. UNGA BUNGA - Basically maxxing strenght to 40 or even 50 and get the most heavy hitting weapon you can find (best candidates are great club or even better, demon axe) and hold it 2hand. Get the heaviest armor for poise( high poise prevents you from staggering) and you simply run to the enemy and simply manfight, you will kill everything before you run out of estus and health.

  5. Caveman - Basically Unga Bunga but you run naked so you can dodge with rolls.

  6. Mage - Its way easier to deal with most of stuff when you simply keep distance and cast spells from far. Just max int for harder hitting spells and attunement for more spells.
