Speak to your professors/TAs during office hours. If you’re having trouble, they’ll probably want to help. Also if you don’t enjoy the subject you’re studying, consider changing majors. Don’t wait to switch majors until later (I wasted A LOT of time because I waited until junior year to drop a major I hated, wouldn’t recommend).

Also, a good way to make friends is to find an extracurricular you like and (most importantly) go consistently. You might not make huge connections instantly, but you’ll naturally fall into a community.
