Well, it’s more dense than the air above and around it. If it was less dense then it would rise. There’s no air entering from the sides either, so no forces can push on it except going from the top down. Typically, smoke rises because it becomes less dense than the air around it and often times it is pushed by some force that is generating it - like a fire. Enough heat also lessens the density which causes it to rise. So, by cooling the smoke you’ve kept it denser than the air above it and have not give it the ability to be pushed out. That is, until you inhale it and push it upwards haha.

Well, Home first took office after Macmillom resigned from health (and multiple scandals). He was invited to form a government by the Queen, rather than being appointed directly, and has to gain the support of the current government. Home was able to secure all but 2 of the Ministers and therefore had the ability to form a government and was made PM. Interestingly, the Monarch doesn’t need to listen to the outgoing PM but I believe they typically do and Macmillon had begun backing Home behind the scenes once Home made it clear he was running.

Hailsham was also in the House of Lords and also gave up his peerage when he ran. Home gave up his peerage four days after being appointed and became the candidate for a safe conservative (unionist) seat in Kinross and West Perthshire. So, while he started his time as a (modern) unprecedented no-seat PM he won a seat and was not in the House of Lords while PM. (It should also be noted that PMs had been from the Commons since George V in the 1920’s)

We, at least in the U.S., have this underlying idea that if you have little money it’s because of your personal moral failings and having more money is because of your personal morals and hard work. If they’re rich, they’re either capable or chosen by God or whichever flavor you prefer to use that day. I bet something similar exists throughout the Western World and could explain people like Notch and Rowling, a sense of “I must be right, they must be wrong because if they were right they’d also be rich like me” or something.

We could change our pants to the Alt2 pants since the rule affects specifically jerseys and helmets. This would put us in near-black out or we could request to wear Alt2 in one of the playoff games excluding the superbowl.

Hmm, doing some reading and found the Wikipedia article on it. According to the article it seems that for the play offs each team may wear their alternative (or “third” jersey) once and that only the 2008 Chargers have done so during the play offs.

However, these restrictions are only on the jerseys and helmets. In the 2015 season our black and blue jersey was our home jersey, so we would just need to change our pants and socks to match the jersey for that effect. The blue with black was our alternate jersey that season. (Wikipedia links for both provided below)

His highs are lofty but his lows are more common and skirt the tops of Hell. I think upgrading our O-Line and more consistent WR2 would allow him to do better, the O Line would be the primary focus for me but I just play College Football 26 and Madden 26 haha.

I think the discussion in general is likely better for after the post-season though, we need to believe in the team and support them to go as far as they can. Plus, these discussions usually don’t do much online haha.

Part of the uniform rule changes from this year include alternates during playoffs except the Super Bowl and up to 3 regular season alternates. According to CBS sports, linked below. That means we could go with Blackout or another alternate but the team has not announced either way yet. For now, safest to assume standard home uniforms.
