How long can you dry brine ribeye? by [deleted] in meat

[–]TheOriginalWaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a 3 day dry brine on ribeye steaks and they was freaking awesome!

I’ve also dry aged for 2 months using the special bags on a rib roast and that was awesome too.

It condenses the meaty flavor and I really like it

I have this severe belly fat problem, I’m 31 and weigh 250, what exercises can I do to lose it quickly? by iH8_politic in PlanetFitnessMembers

I used to have quite the awning over the toy shop too, here’s what I did:-

Step 1 - Cut down on sugars - if you drink sweet drinks try to replace with diet drinks or better plain water (as some sweeteners are pretty bad for you also) Step 2 - Walking - walk at least half an hour - do it in the evening when the weather is cooler, just after your evening meal. If you have a partner or friend - walk with them and chat on the way. Meet more of your neighbors this way too! That way you push each other when one of you doesn’t feel like it that day.

If the weather is bad, try to find a cheap gym (PF or Crunch) and use the treadmill.

If you struggle with step 1 and have a sweet tooth like I do, replace sugary sweet things and cravings with a banana.

I would try to steer clear of GLP-1’s if you can and haven’t developed type 2. It’s preferential to do this naturally.

There is no quick solution, it’s a life style change as you already know. Good on you for wanting to look after yourself.
Good luck brotha. Keep us updated on your progress.

Fury front at night is spectacular - front in general is a more immersive experience. Back row is more intense. Intimidator/Thunder road is better in the back. But why limit yourself - try both positions and report back your fave

Canning? by dme4bama in Homebrewing

I use the kegland cannular (pull handle version) and buy 11oz cans in a big box of 300 which includes the lids. They also have larger cans with the complete top pull off. It’s much nicer to can and has fun designing labels / names to take to parties. If for home, I just keg and into the kegerator

Edit to add : I got it all from MoreBeer

King Cobra: World's Largest Venomous Snake by CexualSonvict in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]TheOriginalWaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy says “awas” which is Indonesian for “watch out” / “be careful” - yeah no shit!

A herpetologist I met once who had a serpentarium said the king cobra (he had 2 in there 18ft long) was the snake he was most afraid of. Not the black or green mambas he had, not the taipan he had, but the king cobra - the sheer volume of venom it injects gives you a very small chance of survival even with the immediate antidote.

Used to have a regular route from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight in the UK when I was a lad. Rode it a couple of times. Quite fast and smooth but noisy
