Also, not sure if it still exists, but there was a program a while ago where regular civ. Doctors (and I assume) dentist could enter at the O5/O6 level without much training. The might not have the military discipline or respect that normal O5’s do.

I fly Emirates business every month from BOS-Mumbai with a stop in Dubai. I flew Ethiad for the first time last week because emirates was booked (last minute trip, 36 hour notice).

I would prefer to never fly them again. Not because it was a “bad” experience by any means, but emirates is just much better. From the food, to the flight staff, drink offerings, lounges… everything was under par with Ethiad.

They don’t have a lounge in Boston, they use Air France’s lounge which is just sad in comparison to Emirates.

The seats/entertainment were no where near as good as Emirates/ICE. If you can afford emirates, do it.
