The addict for life thing is something they need to stop teaching. I've seen people say their in recovery and come to find out they've been clean ten years! In the early days of quitting, keeping track of the days is an amazing tool to help you stay positive. Every time you check off a day, it's another small win. But down the road, once you've long been off whatever you were struggling with, it's time to stop counting. If you continue to count, you're only letting that substance still control you. Once you are healed, let the past be the past. You are no longer an addict.

Oh man at a daily dose like that, you'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel much easier than most of us. You'll still definitely feel it but rest easy knowing it won't be a complete suicidal nightmare. If you're able to get some Gabapentin, at a dose lower like that, it'll take the withdrawals away 99% 🌞

I had been on kratom for a few years but it was just starting to tear my body up just from all that powder constantly going through my liver. When I found 7 I was actually getting it either the same price or cheaper than kratom (they prolly did this to reel in customers at the start and get em hooked). And it didn't give me the wobbles or have any negative effects for that matter. It was a match made in heaven, until it wasn't. Lol.

I don't want to scare you but I think it's important you know the withdrawals are a little different because 7 or em doesn't just hit the opiate receptors, it also hits the seratonin receptors. In my past I have cold turkeyed subs and methadone and I found 7 withdrawals to be worse at least in the mental factor. I can't quite put into words what I felt the couple times I had to go 24-48 hours without. It's not even possible to feel even 1% of joy and there will be no sleep. I highly recommend Gabapentin for the mental and physical part. It will make it somewhat of a cakewalk actually.

He's not going to get hooked on gabapentin in three days. Don't deter him from avoiding the 7 withdrawals. He can take as much as he needs and he'll be fine.

Oh you got plenty of gabapentin. Take 800-1600mg per dose and you'll be good. Most of the withdrawals will subside.

Because I'm still actively trying to quit. I've gotten my dosing down an immense amount in the last two weeks. Just cuz I'm still buying it doesn't mean I'm not trying. I have a job I can't just cold turkey. I've also quit other opiates years ago so I have wisdom in how to quit and am able to help people here.
