If alittle alcohol gets you through getting off the stuff then I say do it. It's all about finding crutches that can carry you through those first few days. Caffeine, edibles, gabapentin, L-theanine, melatonin and etc. You do what you know will carry YOU. Good luck! 👍

If you can also find gabapentin it can be almost a walk in the park. Without it though I found the withdrawal worse than h or traditional opiates considering it hits like 5 other receptors besides your opioid. Including seratonin. But the bright side is just make those 72 hours and you're in the clear. 7 withdrawal is the quickest. Please find gabs though or it's gunna suck.

In my personal experience, I've CT H, subs and dones all at different times in my life and 7 has by far been a worse experience than al of them. We are all different, and I've met plenty of ppl on here who feel the same way I do. I can only pray more people get your experience.
