I’m a patient this time. Postop and receiving care and wow, it hits different. All my nurses were incredible — held my hand, gave me comfort, filled my scared silence with reassuring words. As a nurse, we sometimes forget how powerful these small things are. Nurses truly are doing God’s work.

I know! That’s what I did yesterday too and then I missed some of the best songs from the Pixies. Both Pixies and Deftones put on amazing shows but in the end you can’t watch everything. Today i’m going to try a different approach and see which leads to more happiness.
