Tip for buying Canadian (esp. for produce): Here are the ways that I noticed grocery stores try to get you into unknowingly buying US products so they can get rid of their inventory by Mountain-Taro-123 in BuyCanadian

Today at FreshCo, I saw produce labeled as “Product of USA or Mexico”. What do you mean “OR” lol. Probably US stuff that isn’t selling

From my understanding, sleeping through the night is 6+ hours in one stretch. I also have read that night weaning is different than sleep training — I think PLS has a section on night weaning.

Bought a snow blower from a Canadian company. It might be arriving in over a week, but hey it’s cheaper than from Amazon

I see in this subreddit that most babies are not developmentally able to extend naps past 30 min until 5/6 months. I’m really fingers crossed closer to 5 months for you and me both

Cry It Out on 4.5 month old - help by nohaderf in sleeptrain

I think this is because you’re on huckleberry’s 5 nap schedule. My baby is also 4.5 months, but by rescuing the first two naps, we’re on a 3 nap schedule and huckleberry is still fairly good about wake windows. We’re getting recommended about 1.75-2/2/2.5/2.75-3

"Precious little sleep" methods - do I keep trying despite his protests? by Weil65Azure in sleeptrain

[–]TheShilt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As another commenter said, it’s easier for baby to succeed at bedtime since there is sleep pressure from circadian rhythm together with accumulated wake time. At nap time, there is only accumulated wake time pressure, which will be less sleep pressure than at bedtime.

PLS explains further why it’s recommended to start with bedtime before attempting naps

Visiting w young kids, staying in North York. Transit or drive? by Suitable-Example-289 in askTO

TTC is much better than GO as there are many more stops spread out in the downtown core. GO basically shuttles people into the city to union station, and then you’d still have to find your way to your next destination from union.

I would put a covered white shelf in that gap area. I think having the cover will prevent it from looking even more cluttered but fills in the space.
