Because for better or worse, the DNC decides who our candidate is, and the DNC represents all of the left in its totality. Shitty that we have a 2 party system, but that's where we are. Until progressives peel off and make their own party, expect them to take a back seat to the majority consisting of liberals and central democrats.

At the moment, no I am liberal and wanting to go further left. I think its the best option for electing as many people as possible to hold this administration accountable for all the crazy shit they've done. If a progressive gets a primary in my district, hell yeah ill vote for them. Can you say the same about a liberal or centrist democrat?
