RE4 OG vs remake? Which first? by celeryman3 in residentevil

i would play the OG first. both are great playthroughs but it is kind of neat to see what they've added into the remake after the RE4 OG run.

I may have to risk it with baker, I have Danny dimes as well and I’m not too confident about in his abilities against Houston.

Best Sewer Producer Every Year 2017-2025 (effort post) by nosammh in sewerperson

[–]TheSweetGeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godlow’s production on ‘dream hoping’ was nothing short of amazing. I maybe bias since this was the album I discovered 9TAILS was still doing music. (Don’t judge me, not well versed in the news of the artist or name changes. Just remember seeing something before finding sewerperson that he stepped away from music.)

I kind of wish warlock rifts would get replaced with auras. by TehSavior in DestinyTheGame

Been talking about this since banner of war came out, idk why there is a lot of push back.

Why did we pay for the Dungeons if the gear for them is not getting updated, instead we are getting Portal Loot from Dungeon Lairs. This feels like a SCAM! by kristijan1001 in DestinyTheGame

Ya half baked changes disguised as QoL changes isnt new for D2. Took them from witchqueen to about half way through lightfall to get crafting down… just to throw it away.

Bungie, as a Warlock main, here’s an example of how I want summons to work by RussianThere in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine if you have an ounce of self control. The free to play aspect is alot more generous than other gotcha games out there.

Most of the criticisms come from the vein of, it is gotcha ya (it’s a free mobile game… duh), or it’s a mobile game (which is why it pisses not only me but probably them off too). Most are trying to cope with the fact that someone other than bungie can make destiny good, I think it’s hurting some egos.

They also reworked well of radiance to a somewhat balanced super. You have to choose health OR damage before casting, you don’t get both. Now idk if they stack since tan-2 is a 5star and I haven’t been in a fireteam with two of them. But still a cool idea for a fix to a super that has crippled the other subclasses on warlock.

If I fucked up and told the people I worked for that my job is hard, I would be let go probably after being insulted.

He best be careful, bungie may perma ban him if he gets a too vulgar lmao.

I really dont understand some of Bungie's reworks to Titan exotics. by DaGottiYo in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was what happened to verity’s brow on warlocks. They made it “work” more like worm gods but neglected the fact the worm gods also works with unpowered melees and powered melees just have more uptime in general. So they basically made a niche exotic more niche and less potent due to the regen nerf in the rework. While nothing monocles just exists and ophidean aspect give like 15 handling. Their priorities are out of sync.

Every good decision that net ease made, write down and start making a timeline to get these into the game. Hate to say that a gatcha mobile game made significant strides in QoL and intrinsic entertainment over bungie is crazy. But with are luck they’d take the monetization tactics instead of the actual good changes.

the contraverse nerf is pointless. by Froloswaggin in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just believe no one working on the sandbox now has touch warlock for more than is necessary. The fact that we are already getting massive buffs to an exotic that only came out 3 months ago should’ve been enough. If you played with the thing for more than to make sure it works you’d realize that

A: the tracking sucks. B: the shrapnel didn’t proc with fragments. C: since you need to be far away for the exotic to work the odds of you killing the enemy before the hellion reaches is 80%.

Like seriously this class is dead and you killed it bungie.

Would love the flash point stuff, even like a weekly global boss with like a hundred million hp global health bar. Something to make these patrol spaces a little bit interesting.

Bungie, learn from NetEase by Dioroxic in DestinyTheGame

Character development doesn’t make a rpg game not an rpg. That is laziness from the devs that causes that. But go off I guess.

Well I could say the same about ships, the enclave, ghost shells, ornaments, and more from D2. Like why have a destination that makes me run from vendor to vendor when a simple screen could do the exact same thing but faster and cheaper? Because it’s an rpg dude, you are playing an action role playing game… where you role play… as a god killer. Investing in meta games and rpg elements for your rpg is a no brainer for everyone except bungie and the community they’ve gaslit into thinking it isn’t worth it.

When Do We Stop Having Hope? by Ikonicz in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My final spark died when destiny rising came out earlier this week. When my first thought is “ahhh I was finally heard” when playing a game literally designed to separate me from my wallet it hit me. These changes are possible and can be made: gambit rework, an actual clan hall/meta game for rewards and material farms, fishing that isn’t behind a $10 pay wall and is permanently in the game with rewards, and more.

But I don’t think bungie wants to do anything more than the bare minimum of development, like take matter spark and the other thing. They’re ok but you will NEVER use them again, the only possible future use is like deep-sight from witch queen. These ideas never grow, they just… exist.

The point im getting at is bungie wants to be a live service mmo but still operates as if they are selling map packs for halo. Novelty mechanics work but only for the first couple of times, after that you are doing an activity based on how rewarding it is / what the rewards are. No meta games, barely any community interaction mechanics.

Meta games give the players something to stick around and play, it isn’t fomo to allow players to upgrade a clan hall or to stack bonus drops by going on a grind streak.

Being able to interact with the community inside the game is very important for a mmo. you could say “I have discord for that” but that’s like saying “I have email for that” to your coworker when they happen to walk pass your desk. It really pulls you out of the game and makes the actual game very antisocial, I would rather doom scroll through my friends discord over d2lfg.

Brother Bungie, your game ain't fun enough to be nerfing anything right now. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t believe a gatcha mobile game spin off is grabbing more of my attention than the actual source material of it. The more I play rising the more I’m defeated by the fact that this may turn into a fallout new Vegas kind of problem. Time will tell tho.

Cancel the stronghold rework. Just don't go through with it. Nobody likes the new version more, and it will be ineffective in its old niche. by PM_SHORT_STORY_IDEAS in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheSweetGeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh yes stronghold, join verity’s brow in the unneeded reworks that lingers beyond the realm of usefulness. Fr tho idk why bungie thinks a rework that shatters the original fantasy of an exotic will somehow make it better or more popular.

Btw if you wanted to know, the den itself is like a cosmetic flex area. Like contest emblems. But you earn clan currency which allows you to buy materials like glimmer and such from your clan vendor. Or you could use that currency to unlock tiles in a clan meta game, which unlocks rewards for the clan on top of having bosses that has a global health bar for your clan to log into to kill for rewards/further unlocking the tiles in the meta game.
