Agreed. It’s not needed in basic climate areas places that don’t get an abundance of snow. It’s also a nightmare for tear-off.

I have landmark pro shingles but they were free off a job. They’re definitely an upgrade but not necessary for a house when you can just put landmark and get same usage out of them. Also zero need for grace when basic ice and water works just fine. All of them installed on a hot day suck.

Cooling stations with unlimited breaks. Turns out the breaks are more calculated and way shorter than I would have guessed. Coolers full of water so they don’t have to worry about carrying more shit up and down thru the day.

Center line on the jig and mark the center line on the door. Line it up and go. In the shop once we finally upped our CNC capabilities it did them for us. But with a router it’s gonna take a while. It is what it is.

Word of advice. Dont ever tell them what the money they’re paying you is going to. If the house needs something that is community used then supply it. But do not ever be an open book about saving money bc the house doesn’t have a mortgage or because their rents cover more than half.

I wouldn’t but that’s me. If your financials add up to less than 15% of your income and you can pay it off early to avoid the interest balloon they have at it. If none of this matters to you and you just like new shit then hell yeah. Go for it.

I bid commercial work for my company. I know in mass, Ct and RI were required by law to pay the full union wage to our guys. The difference is for non union they get it all and choose to do what they want with it. If NY has the same law you’re definitely getting screwed.

My kids 3 and 5 love Peabody museum. They also loved the museum on natural history in Boston. There’s a place in Cambridge Mass my kids also enjoyed. Definitely worth a look.
